Players that have been doing well all year were still very good. Saw Dingo walking around so hopefully Higgers got noticed, i'd have A Finger as well but prob in the minority. Players like Lucas, Shipperley and Simmons did their chances no harm but prob still outside shots but would be great in the squad.

Must say Morahan was very solid, couple of trysavers and a line-break. Not bad for a bloke being called turnstyles a month ago. Hopefully we may only face the Lions without him. If QC (Quade Cooper) isn't back i dread having to use Davies verse the Brumbies. Didn't look like a yellow live.

Love the Fingers. Great to have them back.

Fuck me, just got home and watching the reply. I think all Aus Fox commentators want a slice of SBW man junk its hideous.
Genia try was a pleasure to watch at the stadium.

This was just a fabulous, wonderful game of rugby - an ad for the code big time. Atmosphere at the ground was electric, fans thrilled, beautiful echoes of 2011's best.

Side note: Wayne Smith has utterly transformed the Chiefs backs in a highly impressive manner; there were so many times tonight when I had to say about various Chiefs' back line moves, off loads to close support, silken passing, scissor moves with decoys, perfect wide passes, multiple runner options to Cruden all at pace: how good was that!!

The Chiefs are a very impressive team up close. Makes this stunning Reds victory the sweetest of.

How good was Kahui? he was my player of the first half.

They actually put the match stats up on the stadium big screen to keep the crowd quiet rather than allowing anyone to see the replay. Seems to be standard at Suncorp for controversial incidents.

Jonker and the touchie kept looking up hoping for a replay that didn't come.

Home ground advantage counts for plenty wherever you are.

Agree RH.

There close passing and passing off the ground to numerous supporters is very impressive.
Any news on Kahui? Really hope it isn't serious.

What Morahan did wasn't serious enough for a yellow card at least...the tackled player didn't go past horizontal at all...

But didn't the Foxtel Sports commentators dine out on it - like they're not reporting the game, they're trying to make the news.
Very poor commentating in my opinion. To be honest with you, I think Horan has become the producers love boy. Anything to try to create a story, no matter how much it might hurt a players integretity.

One thing we can confidently say re 'the commentators' S15 Conference': we certainly possess the weakest team, so weak it's now fully embarrassing.

If Foxtel offered to charge me an extra $10 pm to just have crowd noise and refs and TMO, I'd rush to press the 'agree and accept' button.

For me, Will Ginea's try was the turning point of the game, much like the final last year.
The way he thought out his run lines, & then ran like a hare for the line.
Did you see how Ioane was actually impeded without the ball in the background when running support.
Ginea read that possibility, so didn't commit Ioane.
Just absolutely brilliant play. He is the world's best half back, no doubt.

A key. The Reds flooded the ruck in the second half and tied up the ball in the tackle to slow this down. The loss of Kahui was massive as well to mine eye.

Aren't they good to watch.
but I bet none of them would be good enough to do this stuff in a tah's jumper.
Nice win by the Reds, always nice to pull one out of the fire.

We may have lost last week. Somebody had to but since the Blues win we have our mojo back.

What I like most is that we needed bonus points but I didn't see us getting one out of this game. That was very cleaver and methodical rugby by the Reds. I was shitting bricks when we were 14 down but boy the team held their nerve.

GO THE MIGHTY REDS.

Great performance, fantastic play from both teams.. It truly was a contest in the way that the game ebbed and flowed.

Few notes;
Shatzy had a blinder. I think he is now the starting 6, and Beau will be used as a super sub.

Lucas is a first rate flyhalf with front foot ball, his passing his crisp off both sides and he generally always makes the right decision.

A. Finger is the difference with us being just competitive and first rate. He is the best center in Australia, whether that be 12 or 13.

Gill's performances in the last fortnight have been breathtaking. I truly think he is already the best thief in the comp. How is that possible?

Simmonds and Horwill were good too. AWH really adds from the bench, he needs more game time.

Scrum is still a worry, and Daley appears to be the issue.

The Chiefs were first rate. Losing Kahui was massive, game changing - just like when Read left the field in the Rebels match.

SBW was very good, he really is the complete package. Although he leaves a bit to be desired as a bloke me thinks with his on field antics (pushing Harris, face massage on Shipps etc).

Cruden will be a classy AB 10 for many years.

The Chiefs backline as a unit probably performed the best that I have seen a team gel this season. I think the key to beating the Chiefs is definitely through the forwards.

Also, how nice is it too see the Reds beat teams through the guts? We have been playing so much tighter recently, and it is really comforting to know that we can play that game if required. If we can fix our scrum, we will be a very, very good team.

It was almost as good as Brothers Under 11 Silvers come from behind last minute (literally) try and 3 point victory against another team today on an away game.

Specially after a few of the other teams kids were heard to say "we've won it now!" when they got 2 tries clear.

Junior Rugby is about learning lessons. Our boys learned not to panic, not to let trash talk make them rash or retaliate, to pick up the intensity and stick to the game plan. The opposition learned not to count chickens and that saying things in rucks like "you Brothers bitches lick balls" can bite you on the arse when said bitches hand yours to you at full time :)
