Agree on Sigg naza. Had him down in one of my teams in the Melbourne thread. He was good for Manly and they lost a few games without him. IIRR he was suspended but he may have been injured later as well, I forget.
A fast athletic 2nd rower at club level he's probably a 6 at the Super level. Don't know why he isn't in the Tahs Academy - maybe he has a real job. He used to be when he was younger.

Personally at school and early in the club season I hated these type of trails.
It's too hot for rugby and you dont get any time to sink your teeth in. Just awful.
But I guess these guys would be keen as for chances.

Despite scoring three tries to two, the HSBC Waratahs have gone down 26-24 to the Queensland Reds in their season-opening trial match at Oakes Oval in Lismore.
The Reds scored ten points in the final four minutes to claim the victory against a Tahs side which finished the match with a host of rookies and club players on the field.
NSW signalled their intentions early on by declining a number of opportunities to kick penalty goals, however it was the Reds who drew first blood via a Jack Kennedy try with the prop crashing over on quarter time.
A scuffle in the 28th minute saw Saia Fainga'a shown a yellow card, and the Tahs again declined to go for points from the ensuing penalty. The decision paid off with Josh Holmes going over after some solid phase ball.
Ben Lucas piloted a penalty for the Reds early in the second half, and not long after young flyer Alex Rokobaro backed his ability and almost scored after a kick and chase down the left flank.
In the 57th minute the Tahs finally went for a penalty which Brendan McKibbin converted to tie the game at 10-all. The deadlock didn't last long however with Tim Walsh kicking a three-pointer for the Reds.
On the stroke of three-quarter time NSW took the lead after Paddy Ryan went through a gap and linked with McKibbin who crossed under the posts against his former side.
Ten minutes into the final quarter, Walsh brought the margin back to one-point with a penalty, however in the 72nd minute Dylan Sigg crashed over after the NSW forwards successfully drove the ball to the line from a lineout. McKibbin converted to open an eight-point advantage with seven minutes to play.
Queensland never gave up however, and Richard Kingi scored out wide with four minutes left on the clock. Walsh's conversion brought the margin back to one as the game wound down.
The Reds then received a penalty 38m out with 90 seconds left on the clock which Walsh put over to give the visitors a two-point win.
The HSBC Waratahs return to Sydney on Sunday ahead of next Saturday's trial against the Fiji Warriors at Wade Park in Orange.

Queensland recovered from an eight-point deficit to squeeze out a dramatic 26-24 trial win over Super 14 arch rivals NSW in Lismore.
The Waratahs scored three tries to two in front of a crowd of 3,628 spectators.
The Reds, who were playing their first game under former NSW coach Ewen McKenzie, trailed 24-16 when former ex-Queensland squad member Brendan McKibbin converted a 72nd-minute try to fellow replacement Dylan Sigg.
Queensland got within a point when Tim Walsh converted a 76th-minute try to halfback and Wallaby squad tourist Richard Kingi.
Walsh nudged the Reds past NSW with a penalty inside the final two minutes.
Both coaches opted not to use the vast majority of their current Wallaby representatives.
The Reds opened the scoring when prop Jack Kennedy rounded off some sustained forward pressure.
Five-eighth Ben Lucas converted but Queensland found themselves down to 14 men, when hooker Saia Fainga'a was sin-binned for fighting following a melee.
The Waratahs capitalised on the penalty awarded for that infringement, with halfback Josh Holmes marking his return from the Brumbies by scoring a try.
Acting captain and five-eighth Daniel Halangahu converted to leave the sides locked at 7-7 at half time.
Lucas and McKibbin exchanged penalties and Walsh kicked another one as Queensland eked a 13-10 lead in the third quarter.
However, McKibbin scored a try and converted to give the Waratahs a 17-13 advantage heading into the last quarter.
Walsh narrowed the deficit to one with a 70th minute penalty.

A few of my own (mainly Red) observations on the game:
The game was played at quite a high standard considering it was a first trial match, and there was a good level of enthusiasm and committment from all the players. The lineout from both sides looked good and throwing was of a high standard. Qld scrum, more so in the first half, looked solid.
I thought Byrnes had a very busy 80 minutes on the field, but he needs to eliminate the unnecessary niggle from his game.
Jake Schaatz impressed, particularly in the first half. He carried the ball very effectively and may well be the bolter come opening round. Shaw was also busy and agressive when he came on, but probably infringed too much at the breakdown area.
Lei Tomiki looks a handy acquisition. Very powerful and built low to the ground and was a plus at the breakdown.
Kingi was sharpish at 9. A solid game, decent pass, good backing up, and he will get better as the season progresses. His opponents in Blue both had strong games. Could it be the year that Holmes finally comes good?
Ben Lucas is a tough little Rooster but Walsh definitely had the better game of the two Red's pivots. He seems a very calm and assured player, and I do like his kicking game.
Turinui did some clever things at 13 and provided good leadership on the field. Agree with Lee that 13 is his position, but what to do with Diggers and Chambers when they come back?
All the outside backs had decent hitouts for the ball they got, and the highlight of the second half was a very purposeful run from Rod Davies. Also agree that the young Fijian winger looked exciting for the Tah's.
The most encouraging thing from a Reds perspective? They kept their heads when they fell behind with 10 minutes to go, and they certainly look a mile fitter than they did last year.
