I don't rate myself as a 3-2-1-er, but does anyone else feel Kepu is the in-form prop in Australian Rugby at the moment?

And, does anyone else think that if a Wallaby team was picked today he still would not start because he is playing too well on both sides of the scrum (i.e. the perfect No.17)?

Haven't seen the replay yet but thought Captain Kev was fantastic.

Reds:

3 James Horwill
2 Rob Simmons
1 Guy Shepherdson

Tahs:

3 Kurtley Beale
2 Luke Burgess
1 Sekope Kepu

Deans probably won't pick Kepu. He was in this form last year and we had a prop crisis but still wasn't picked. Why would he pick him now.

Tahs:

3. Sekope Kepu (surely won't make the Wallabies - he is the form Aussie prop, and we already have Alexander, Mafu, Slipper and Daly doing sterling work)
2. Benn Robinson (might make the Wallabies if he works on his flick pass)
1. Sitaleki Timani (should make the Tongan squad)

Palu was pretty awesome, and Waugh is still a great player (which is not to say he was right to spurn the easy points when they were on offer, nor were his post match comments prudent - think whatever you like Phil, but then pick a few cliches to make the punters happy and move on, that is the part you are expected to play in these interviews). Of the backs, Beale asked some questions when given a chance, Turner was solid but not spectacular, Carter the same.

Reds:

3. James Horwill (played himself to a standstill, played the ref like a cheap fiddle - well done on selling the difficult footing line as it didn't really sit well with the utter scrum reaming the Reds had been getting throughout the match)
2. Will Genia (a class act throughout - the only fuck up that sticks out in my mind is the miss on Burgess)
1. Beau Robinson (had a point to prove, and proved it well)

Simmons rates a mention, as does Wallace-Harris (name?). A running Ioane is an awesome thing. The defence in the centres was rock solid.

Quality line - almost lost a mouthful of beer over it. Very true though, some of his best work on the night.

Reds
3, Beau Robinson - played Waugh off the park and was great at the breakdown
2, Will Genia - still shake my head to think he is in his early 20's as he has such maturity. Was in control the whole game.
1, James Horwill - Great leadership shown and was physical all game

Did think of giving the point to all the front rowers as they won the game for the Reds by fighting through the pressure period when the Tah's were hard on attack

Tah's

3, TPN - Game changed when he went off
2, Kepu - has come so far this year. in career best form
1, Kingston - didn't get much ball but looked good when involved. Outplayed most of the other Tah's backs. Could be a good option at 13.

Burgess almost got a point but his carry on when Carter was short of the try line lost him points
