Same with backs scoring flashy tries then? Or captains leading a team around a field? I just think he deserves a mention because it was his first official Super cap for QLD, and packed a shit load of scrums, mostly doing a reasonable job for 20 solid minutes of scrums only. After listening to Al Baxter on last weeks podcast, he made it pretty clear the strain on the body scrums put on tightheads. Anyway, just post your points ay.

I wasn't being a smartarse, I genuinely thought he must have been doing something special due to you "forces" ramble. I thought he must have been injured or something.

Dean Mumm and Kane Douglas redeemed themselves.

Team That Would've Won If TPN Didn't Go Off:

3. Mumm
2. Kepu
1. Douglas

Cheats:

3. Cooper
2. Hanson
1. Ioane

I think Palu showed why he has to be the #8. Only Australian player capable of big dominant hits.

ohh qwerty you cant blame that on the reds cheating
they were very brave when they needed to be- hats off to em

1. Cooper - Bad day with the boot, lots of out on the fulls but he did score every point for the Reds, deserves at least 1 point for that.

Honorable mention to Horwill, Robinson, and A. Fainga (his defence was superb).

Tahs
3. Kepu
2. Robinson
1. Palu

Mention to timani, thought he played well for his run on debut. Tahs front row was great, needs to be the wallabies front row.

Will Genia also played well. Quade Cooper was brilliant when attacking the NSW line but his clearing kicks were woeful and some risky passes put his team-mates under pressure. He is vulnerable in these slugfest-type games, needs to improve his judgements in play. James Hanson should also now be the first choice at hooker for the Reds.

3. Benn Robinson

Tatafu Polota-Nau and Wycliff Palu were immense when they were on but hugely missed after they went off. Sitaleki Timani made his massive presence felt too in the lineouts and defence. I can't see Kurtley Beale getting a shot at playing 10 for the Rebels next year, however, he needs to be wider.

Higgers put Mumm in his place. Seriously calling Reds cheats as Carter tries to tunnel through the bottom of a ruck to place a ball over the line! Saw game live, then replay twice - take the emotion out of the game and amazing what you really see.
Tahs lost the game through a poor game plan. Take the points where and when you can instead of trying to prove your dominance and they might have won the game. Very poor desicion making. Funny how Phil was screaming at them from the bench to take the kick, when his option on the field was to pack the scrum. Only got one more thing to say. GO THE REDS.
