Tahs :-
3. Kepu

Beale is not a 10. He had better get something more in attack than grubbers or chip kicks if he intends to play 10.

Fair point.. but he may want to have a pair of centres outside him of a higher calibre than Cross and Carter.. that is a joke pairing surely...

Bob Loudon (25)
Reds:
1. Genia- Provided awesome service and acted brilliantly as a link between forwards and backs
2. Simmons- Quickly cementing his position as Queensland's line-out general, complete game with excellent ball running and physicality
3. Robinson- Phenomenal defence and did a fantastic job in the breakdown

Special mention to Hanson for solidifying the scrum and providing much needed impact in the crucial stages of the match. A major threat to Fainga'a

Tahs:
1. Robinson- Dominated the Reds scrum and demonstrated his power in regards to rucking/mauling
2. Kepu- See above, consistently improving
3. Burgess- Maintained control over the Tahs gameplan, backed up by his improved passing and his usual brilliant attacking play

He played 15 virtually the whole game after Mitchell went off?

1. James Hanson - the only reason we didn't concede a penalty try I reckon.

Tahs:
3. Benn Robinson

Reds:
3. Shepherdson - I hope people realised the amount of scrums this guy packed and the amount of forces travelling through his body for a 20minute period. It was a brave effort and deserves mention.

Waratahs:
6. TPN

Am I missing something? I thought this is what props did for a dollar?

Dean Mumm and Kane Douglas redeemed themselves.

Team That Would've Won If TPN Didn't Go Off:

3. Mumm
2. Kepu
1. Douglas

Cheats:

3. Cooper
2. Hanson
1. Ioane

I think Palu showed why he has to be the #8. Only Australian player capable of big dominant hits.

Same with backs scoring flashy tries then? Or captains leading a team around a field? I just think he deserves a mention because it was his first official Super cap for QLD, and packed a shit load of scrums, mostly doing a reasonable job for 20 solid minutes of scrums only. After listening to Al Baxter on last weeks podcast, he made it pretty clear the strain on the body scrums put on tightheads. Anyway, just post your points ay.
