I think most of us who are talking about CFS dropping out of the XV are looking forward few weeks at least, trying to work out our best long term team. Obviously anyone coming into the side is going to do it via the bench -- for the moment at least. If we had someone who was glaringly out of their depth, maybe that'd be the case, but at this point no one is likely to be coming back form injury/suspension directly into the starting XV. I think looking at the Sharks (and I'm going to have to re-watch their game) CFS will probably be the better choice given the pace of the Sharks wingers.

I'm going to give Nic Berry a big thumbs up for his game last night. Plays a good advantage, communicates well with the players and gets out of the way & lets the game flow. I don't recall any contentious decisions. I think we'll be seeing him start to officiate in some important matches soon.

I rate Berry, recent poor call in Brumbies game aside. I know a lot of English fans liked his refereeing in the RWC which isn't always the case with SH refs.

On the converse, SH players and spectators love the NH interpretations ;)

I’m pretty sure he came back on and finished the game.

I was there, and far out it was fun being able to cheer and carry on with other Reds fans! Almost forgot what that feeling was like. Geez I hope the boys can get on a roll - the fans will reward them.
Yep , left with a smile on my face and a spring in my step.

Makes you realise it’s been a while .

I’ll be back this Saturday, hopefully with a stack more cheering them on .

Talk of replacing CFS is a bit odd. He's been pretty damn solid and it's his position until he loses it, or someone does something spectacular in training or as a substitute to win it.

Any other kind of decision is just unscientific.

(and that's coming from someone who has been quite critical of him in the past)

Gets injured tackling Hunter..........
