The problem is that he will get only 10 minutes on the field which is not enough to maintain a full match fitness. In my opinion he should have been released earlier.
That game the other night was against a bunch of boys just running around with no structure. Far better to be training with men, in a Super Rugby environment and gain any valuable experience he can. The physicality will be helpful to what he will face in a few weeks.
