Well not much to look forward to for this one, well except a beers with OzTimmay at the Caxton as we are making the trip up.

Both teams have a list of players playing their last games for the club before moving to Europe, as well as a pretty good list of injuries.

Who will win?

Interestingly the Reds have conceded 35 less points then the Rebels in 2016, but the Rebels have scored 68 points.

Points for:
Reds - 16th
Rebels - 14th

Points against:
Reds - 15th
Rebels - 16th

Hard to believe looking at that the Rebels have double the wins as the Reds.

Reds to win off the back of a four-try rampage from Greg Holmes in his last game.

With the Rebels suffering so many injuries this is actually a real chance for the Reds. Hopefully McIntyre and CFS are still injured so Duncan P and Kuridrani get starts.

Holmsie had a crook neck last week - hopefully he is OK to play, same with Slipper (sternum). Simmons still out.

Gill to be captain in last game for the Reds (for the foreseeable future). Would be a fitting end - a WIN and Captain

Holmes has been great for the Reds for many many years - hope he returns for Wallaby duties - Crazy to have let him go - I wonder what fuckwit did that - I can only guess

Paul Asquith, Ryan Cocker, Cam Crawford, Tamati Ellison, Scott Fuglistaller, Jamie Hagan, Mike Harris, Dan Hawkins, Luke Jones, Kotaro Matsushima, Tim Metcher, Mick Snowden, Adam Thomson

Last games for Reds, including those in the stands, to my knowledge (or at least in contract limbo):

Curtis Browning, Ben Daley, Anthony Fainga'a, Saia Fainga'a, Lolo Fakaosilea, Chris F-S, Scott Gale, Liam Gill, Sam Greene, Greg Holmes, Matt Mafi, Jake Schatz, Waita Setu, Lagi Setu (Goromaru, Taulagi & Matwijow already gone)

Plenty of tears off the field here, reckon the Reds will edge it due to home advantage

Rebels injury Report.

A hamstring injury has seen fullback Mike Harris play his last game for the Melbourne Rebels after being ruled out for the remaining outing of the season against the Queensland Reds on Friday night in Brisbane.

The 28-year-old, who joins French club Lyon at the end of the season, was substituted in the seventh minute against the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday – prematurely ending a frustrating season of injuries for the back.
Rebels lock Luke Jones has recovered from a concussion while second row partner Lopeti Timani will continue to be monitored for a second-week after suffering a head knock against the Stormers.
Captain Nic Stirzaker and Laurie Weeks both successfully returned from ankle and hamstring injuries, respectively, against the Crusaders.

The Melbourne Rebels injury update following Round 16 v Crusaders brought to you by Recover Sports Medicine:
Lopeti Timani (Concussion): Test
Mike Harris (Hamstring): Season
Kotaro Matsushima (Hamstring): Season
Dan Hawkins (Back): Season
Dom Shipperley (Knee): Season
Cam Crawford (Broken Hand): Season

Tamati Ellison (calf): Season

Jack Tuttle doubtful with an injured shoulder, Tom Banks has been training at fullback. S.Fainga'a also doubtful for what would be his 100th game and likewise A.Fainga'a is also doubtful for their send-off.
