Depends on how many kicks for goal we miss.

Is gill an option at 13? Risky but less so than genia playing 10, and if the force attack that channel they will have to deal with the possible turnovers at the breakdown.

Gill would probably stifle any attack we had. Not intentionally, of course.

Reminds me of a 10's comp I played in at Airlie Beach years ago. Being a backrower in the 15 man version, I was duly thrown into the centres for the comp. Sure, I got a couple of turnovers, but other teams just got on the outside of me as my positional play and speed were rubbish. Even though My and Gill's skills are light years apart, the same thing could potentially happen. Hmm, maybe I was rubbish in the centres because I was hungover......

Anyway, best to keep Gill at what he does best.

Gill has slotted in at 12 for Aus Schoolboys before. Not that I'm recommending it. If Aiden isn't fit, which appears to be the case, perhaps Prior to 15? He has some experience there and definitely seems to have the skillset for the job, as opposed to Davies & Morahan, who are both strictly wingers. God, what a headache! Best of luck to Link, this is a must win game and he has some very tough selections on his hands.

I'm going to say this once, putting a forward in the backs will not solve any problem.

Having said that, and I agree Tiger, the Reds are starting to run out of back options.

This is the second time someone has got this wrong, Prior is no longer the property of Queensland Rugby Union.

Yep, having played for the Brums this year, fairly sure he can't now play for the Reds. Unless there is a different Prior running around out there?

The Reds haven't really played with a specialist fullback for some years now from memory, I think Clinton S the leaguie (cant be bothered trying to spell his last name) was the last one. I hasn't really been a problem for them with the solid backline we've had and Quade dropping back etc but right now it seems to be a big issue.

Is Aiden Toua the only proper 15 that the Reds have contracted? I agree that Davies isn't the answer there. Against a team like the Force who don't exactly have a strong backline it might not be so bad but in the coming weeks I'd say they need to address this issue.

I would argue that Peter Hynes is the only specialist full-back in the squad. But yes Toua is probably the next best, and most experienced there, but I always saw him as a wing option for QLD, but that was before Morahan and Davies started producing turds for performances.

Ah yeh Hynes, sorry totally forgot about him, probably because he's been injured for so long. After the Sharks game I thought Davies might have been the answer but his defence against the Bulls was atrocious and his kicking game seems fairly weak.

Whats happened to Morahan this year?? I remember when he was a game changer for us a few years ago over in NZ but this year he seems to be struggling to get even the basics right. Im a bit worried Link will play him at 13 this weekend simply because we're lacking options.

And currently I would probably rate Davies above Morahan.

Morahan has looked lazy at 15 and the wing in his work off the ball at times

Immense talent, but .. ...

Daley starting eh? Glad that Van is starting, and we should be able to keep up the forward intensity when the interchanges start happening.

I really hope no more backs go down this weekend.

What positions can we cover with Frisby and Eyres-Brown on the bench? It seems that Frisby is probably only a 9 (only going off the two SA games - I know nothing about him) so if we get two injuries, say at 15 and 13, can we cover them?

I was going to suggest we probably need to start looking at a 4/3 split but then I realised, we were struggling to get 2 reserve backs.
