Apparently Hanson is in doubt for the weekend and Anae may be converted to hooker for the Reds...

Force set piece might get on top if that's the case...
I'm hopeful that Anae will surprise a few if he gets the starting gig. He is a big unit (nearly 120kg) and very mobile to go with it. Albert has been a "prop to hooker" project for the last year or two, so lineout throwing may be the biggest challenge, but I hear that has improved significantly.

Yeah, Wade is a former flanker. He did play at 2 until he was subbed late in the second half. Looked solid from what I saw of him on Sunday but didn't see enought to make too much of a comment.

The sub was last years Aus schools hooker, Ngaumo I think?

Anae was converted in 2010, he has played both prop and hooker for Sunnybank depending on who else was available

So, knowing the Force backrow, will Link start both Beau and Liam with Higgers at 8? Or would he be better off with the same pack as last weekend?

Having Beau and Shatz there allows for Higgers to be utilised as a running forward as the former two are constantly doing the dirty work.

I would expect to see Albert start. Saia will likely be on the bench, he was running at training yesterday, did some one on one then joined the main group. This will mean he has trained early enough to be selected (No training by Monday of game week = no selection at the Reds)

Hopefully, Harris lifts his passing game and can get the Reds backline moving forward.

Would not you get the same with a back line of Beau, Gill & Higgers? Shatz on the bench will then allow for a shuffle if there is an injury.

I hope he is back, his tackling close to the breakdown is great and really slows the opposition down. I still think he is under rated

I think he is the opossit he is very over rated.

He cant really scrum
He cant really through

One of the only things he does well is the short back and forth with 1 at the lineout.

The only reason he even ended up at the reds because it was a 2 for 1 with Ant.

Mark my words - this is going to be another slugfest up front. Beautiful to my eyes and ugly for all those running rugby fans. (I would be happy with 100 rolling mauls per game)

Continuity will be, like last wekk, difficult to attain. I love the Reds but thought that they were lucky in escaping that game with an extra 3 competition points. Hopefully the work rate in support improves to retain possession and build pressure.

Forward parity should be gained by the Reds or at least close to it and the backs (or actually MikeyMike's boot) will win the game (just).

Who did the Reds want at first, him or Ant?

I agree to an extent with Liquor Box, his work close to the ruck, particularly in defence is very effective. The one thing with Saia for me, is that he has never looked as fit as his colleagues, and that might influence workrate.

Well, the Brumbies didn't offer Ant a contract but Saiaa wouldn't stay without him...

At the same time Moore was keen to get out of Queensland...

I was under the impression (i may be wrong and happy to conceed if so) that the reds wanted Ant and Saiaa came with in a 2 for 1 kinda deal

Not exactly true.

Being local boys they would've stayed at the Brumbies but they wouldn't offer Ant a contract... and since they're inseparable the Reds were able to score Saiaa (who the Brumbies did want to keep) with Ant.

So each club wanted one of them but not the other and the reds were willing to take Saiaa then?
