Pissing down in the SEQ. Will be a wet field tonight. I'm not sure who that will advantage. But the Reds boys a definitely used to it.

I've got the feeling....deep.....deep....did I say deep down in the guts.....the deep down lower intestinal tract in fact...that....just maybe...maybe the upset could be on at Suncorp. Call it the alignment of the planets, the pattern of the tea leaves in the bottom of the cup, the ramblings of a demented gypsy soothsayer on the way home from dinner, a died in the wool hunch......I'm thinking the Force in a boil over by 8 points.

I reserve the right to deny all knowledge of the aforementioned statements in the advent of a dissapointing Force result at 7.00pm WST Saturday.

Mate I dare not hope, because these guys in the five years I've been attending the games in person have broken my heart so many times!

with the conference system it is vital that the Reds win tonight to ensure they stay a game ahead of the Tahs.
I would not be overly suprised by an upset but do think the Reds will just get home. I would love nothing more than or Gill to bqe moved in to the starting team as Iwant to see Gill v Pocock on an even footing when they are both equally tired. If Gill does not start he will enter the field fresh when Pocock is tired and will not give a fair assessment of where he is at. I predict that by the end of today there will be calls for Gill to be a Wallaby by Reds fans. On average I think at least 2 uncapped players come into contention on forums per game!

I think Slipper needs toshow some progression or he will be stuck on thWallaby bench later in the year, he is a bit bigger now and needs to start to dominate his opponant.

Go Reds!

I think the fact the Force came within minutes of beating the Reds twice last season, plus how desperately close they came to getting done last weekend will ensure there is no complacency in the Reds camp tonight.

With it being the first match at Suncorp, the Reds will be out to impress a big fired up crowd. Rain may put a slight dampener on things and create a bit more lost ball than usual but can't see that favouring either side really.

Looking forward to seeing how Gill goes against Pocock once he gets in too.

Still going to confidently take the Reds by 8+ in the betting tonight.

Get ready for it - We Are Red!

Absolutely fair call and at the same time I'd only put one of them in the Reds top 5 overall best players. That is not meant to be a diss on the other four. More pointing out how deep the talent runs.

The reason QLD has started winning is because they are a champion team

I expect this game to be quite tight, combinations haven't clicked yet so a lot will rely on how much each others forwards disrupt the ball

Agree with all except Holmes and Slipper. Spud is very uderrated and i would put him even with Longarse, Slipper is definatly an all round better player then Ma'afu

Force by 1 that is what I envisioned after sniffing 12+ Artline texters together. Texters aside I come up with Reds by +14. Drained from the Saders/Highlanders game so at least I'm nice & relaxed for this one.

Nick Cummins pre-match interview, good value haha.

Also saw Nick Frisby warming up with the backs, couldn't see Rod Davies though, is Rocket a lot withdrawal? We don't have any other fit backs (Toua and F'Satiua out injured)

Stannard penalty attempt was not real good. Good touch finder from the Reds.

If only Nalaga had of hung onto that ball, would've made things interesting.

Some nice defence by the reds but rightfully penalised for laying around & not moving at the ruck. Good play from the force, last pass just no good.
