A superb 55 minutes of rugby from the Reds, spoiled only by a lack of scrum dominance and no dedication to rucking or counter rucking at the breakdown.
The last 25 mins were not so good, but we managed not to lose it from there.

Really enjoyed that Reds effort, even though they sent me further backwards in the tipping comp.
Except Mr Entertainment Cooper who was pants.
Barnes more than made up for him. Best game for ages. Wallaby 12 locked in, Eddie.
Hardman worked ceaselessly, Big Kev and Van were good, Taylor also.
Genia, Barnes, Diggers, McLinden stood out in the backs.
Blues lucky to get 2 BPs I thought (I was a bit pissed off they let that last one in).

Great effort to win away from home, but it is so frustrating to see them play like that but like utter shit against the Lions and the Force. The Brumbies will be hurting after their thumping so next week at Suncorp could be a ripsnorter.

While I fully expect you would prefer to see no Australian team make the playoffs if the Reds can't, my original post was more about the Blues getting a 2 point leg up into contention, when I felt they deserved nothing from the game. Well done Reds - didn't see it coming. The Blues were crap for a lot of the game but it was the Reds that made them look like that.
Then, I'm afraid that the Reds reverted a bit to type and allowed another comeback to their opponents.
The performances of the Reds for a majority of the Blues game, and the Sharks game, must make it all the more frustrating for the Reds coaching staff and fans because they indicate the level of excellence that they are not rising to, week after week.
What a fantastic game by Barnes; I wish we had him at the Tahs, and another top effort from Diggers, one of the most improved players in Oz rugby over the last 12 months. He's made the top number of hit ups for any back in the S14 and more line breaks than anybody.

It's funny, I'd cheer the Reds like hell if they were the only hope for an Aussie team to get in, just as I cheered them on Saturday (despite them stuffing up my tipping). It never occurred to me to do otherwise.
