I think that military history records that the only time when a NZ mob attacked an Australian mob at war (an ANZAC tradition from the original ANZACs) was in the back streets of the red light district of Cairo in WWI.

My Dad was in Cairo with RAAF/RAF in WW2, with him as navigator and Max Jordan from Palmerston North as pilot, so no conflict there!

The vibe I am getting from here is that the Reds supporters don't give a flying fox how lucky they may or may not have been to get the 4 points for victory.

The Reds Supporters are use to these close games. Plus you right, we dont give a flying fox what we win by as long as we get the 4 points.

Is it not an exceptional achievement that the Reds:

- are the first ever Aus team in SuperRugby to beat all NZ teams they faced in one season and

- after the Stormers 2010, only the second ever team to do this?

Massive achievement. Well done

Whoooaaaa! What a game. Crowd all to their feet when the ball went dead. Blues awesome. Reds looked tired from last week but held on, gutsy stuff. Nothing like watching the reds win at Lang park.

Comments about the Reds crowd booing the ref etc. Well there were plenty of boo's every time QC (Quade Cooper) lined up a kick so fair to say there were plenty of kiwis there.

Comments about the Reds being cynical and comparing that game to the Brumbies performance last week. The Brumbies were accused of cynical play, not for taking shots at goal but for deliberately offending every time the Reds came close to scoring. How were the Reds being cynical?!?

The comments about the ref somehow gifting this one to the Reds are a fucking joke. Period.

Well played to the Blues, that was a relentless display tonight but holy shit, our defence is getting better and better.

Lastly. Giddy up Biggsy! Let er rip! You're on fire tonight son! :)

I think you'll find most Reds supporters realise how lucky the Reds were. There are always the few who view any win as deserved and any loss as unfair, of course.

For most of the second half I thought that the Blues had the game. While being still being hopeful, I didn't see the Reds scoring enough points, as I fully expected the Blues to score more if given the chance.

MOTM Craig Joubert for the QLD Reds. The Blues didnt do themselves any favours giving away heaps of stupid penalties, and way too many knock ons. But he didnt ping the Reds for doing the exact same thing the Blues were doing 95m down the pitch.

Very lucky win for the Reds.

It's funny how we've managed these 'lucky' wins consistently for the last few years eh!

This is a ridiculous post.

Reds extremely lucky to not be penalised on several occasions in the last 5, I suspect Mr Joubert put his whistle away.

rwc final 2011, it's his MO. Tends to go with home teams in the close ones.

Well done Reds, great to see Aussie teams doing well. Things are looking good for test matches.

Bwaaaahhhhh, I really want to but I haven't had enough rum cans tonight to think clearly. ANZAC day for me is a big day. So feeling it tonight,
But i will add on top of your fantastic post.
The past 2 games for the reds have been hard fort rugby battles.win, loose, draw. the 3 top teams in the comp have come to play and there's not much between at the moment. It's going to be a epic finals run.

Brumbies beat all the NZ teams in 2004, however they played the 'Saders twice and lost to them in the regular season before beating them in the final.......
