Reds 2023

Incorrect.

Surprised you'd not realise this given how 100% reliant on set piece and infringing mechanics the Brumbies are.

Oh wait... Nevermind.

Errgghhh it gets dragged out all the time.. thp reserve is no where near as important as your 10... Just take a look at the shitfest in Queensland when they lost JOC (James O'Connor).

Brumbies reserve thp is not more important then Noah. Proven when we was out and we played crap..

I think Tupou is off after 23. He posts a lot about how long he’s been at the reds, it will be his ninth season which seems crazy long already. His losing two of his closest mates in Lukhan & Alex.
I imagine playing at the Reds under Thorn would be similar to a good boarding school.

Youve got your mates there, you get looked after, but there are some pretty clear and at times strange guidelines you need to follow. It’s all good for a couple of years but once you start maturing you realise there is a whole other world out there.

Taniela probably feels it’s time to spread those beefed up wings.

I think Tupous next contract(If in Australia) will come down to whichever clubs offers him greatest flexibility for sabbaticals, i think its fair that whichever club signs him lose him for at least one Super Rugby season to a sabbatical, potentially some Super Rugby clubs bidding are happy with the idea of losing him for 2.

Fox Sports reporting that Vunivalu has turned down Uncky Wayne and the Dolphins to sign a 1 year extension with the Reds... which comes with a RA top up to keep him in rugby for the RWC 2023.

This is sure to be a good talking point now, no word on how much the deal is worth (although it mentions it's a paycut to any potential NRL deal) but if he breaks down during Wallaby camp or doesn't get a run, no doubt the haters will be out in force.

If it's for less than he was on then it's not really a big deal - and it must be unless the Dolphins were planning on making him the highest paid winger in the game.

I imagine any deal at the Dolphins would have been a multi year deal, which I figured would be appealing to a bloke who's had injury problems.

Maybe there is something still on the cards down the track but he's going to test the waters at international level first.

Even if the Dolphins were going to throw bulk money at him, just driving to/from training would mean his petrol bill will eat into that extra cash.

His earning potential in rugby is much higher than league and will be astronomical if he stars for Australia in the RWC next year.

Faessler certainly took his chances this year.
He and Smith were the consistent quiet achievers for mine this year. Takes the cake for photo of the year too.

Except the photo was from last year.
Interesting turn of events - seems your right, last year’s jersey with SRAU and without the gold detailing. QPR posted it in March saying he’s back at Ballymore so took it at face value.

Photo of the year gong is still up for grabs then.
