I have been around a helluva lot longer than you, I would guess. I remember the Australia of the fifties, which was white, middle-class, and conformist. You want to see a conformist culture? Go back a few decades.

We have come a long way since then, but in terms of our relationships with our First Nations people, we have a long way to go. Of course we are all entitled to our opinions, and my opinion is that Reg was entitled to get steamed up.

I think you need to consider that different groups have different ways of expressing themselves and different interpretations of those expressions, to call someone else’s way of expressing a story as boring because it doesn’t meet your interpretation of exciting, can be offensive to those who who have told the story.

Absolutely people are entitled to call it whatever they like, but just be aware others might find that offensive.

Combo of some behavioural things (which are probably not massively concerning, but Thorn is tough on that stuff) and he hasn't been performing well enough, especially in attack. Plenty of people in the squad will be licking their lips.

I am interested to see how Hunter goes at 12, given the disappointing effort when he moved into 12 against the Rebels. I hope we aren't trying to create a team around Vuni, or being told where to play people by the Wobs.
Also, where did the Dane Zander injury rumour come from?

Why do they charge $130 for a jersey? That's pretty tough to justify. I think the Wallabies jersey i got back in 2015 in England worked out to be about $80 (could be making that up).

But Stewart did himself no favours, understood to have reported for a rehabilitation session after their win over the Rebels a fortnight ago in an unfit state and displayed a general tardiness at training.
Junior Wallabies centre Josh Flook has been added to the bench with Stewart set to play club rugby this weekend.
"It was around a discipline issue internally about our standards, but it's allowed us to see that Wallaby combination together and a guy we rate very highly, Josh Flook, to be named," Thorn explained.
"Hamish we rate highly (but) never open the door at this level for someone else, that'd be my thoughts.
"Hamish is a great guy, he'll be back involved but you don't want to give guys an opportunity - that's competitive rugby."

All pretty minor things and nothing to actually be worried about but shows you how competitive those Reds center spots are right now. You've got Wallabies from 9 to 14 and even Campbell had arguments for being included in the training squad.
A bit of 'pull up your socks or you could find yourself playing club footy won't do any damage for Stewart.

We must have grown up in a different part of town.
Growing up in Melbourne in the 50s I was surrounded by Italians, Greeks, Yugoslavians, Turks and Egyptians and had team mates in football and cricket teams.
Post-war Australia was very different to pre-War Australia - especially in working class areas.

I've also worked in mining industry environments where >50% of employees were of Aboriginal or Torres Strait heritage - and that was in the 80s. You shouldn't believe everything you hear/see on the ABC.

PS The 50s were 60 - 70 years, 2 generations ago.
PPS Please advise for how long the term "First Nations" have been used in relation to our fellow Australians of Aboriginal and Torres Strait heritage. I have a preference for the use of "First Peoples" as from my learnings there was never Nation or Nations - just many tribal groups with different languages (>350).

Hunter puts on a good shot, but he has a few defensive issues that I am sure he is working on in the 13 channel. He has proven to be a more effective 13 than Jordy over the past season. Put Jordy on the wing, as he clearly is more defensively effective there, and can be as effective in attack at 14. If Jordy has to go to the bench, for Vuni, than I guess he has to, and put Flook/Henry on the bench to give deserved boys a chance who deserve it, both in terms of talent and good behaviour. Hunter has done nothing to give up his favoured 13 jersey. In my view, we are trying to see what we can get out of Vuni, and if we want to change our whole attack to do this, I suppose it supports the immense pay check by the RA. I personally believe that playing players who have proven themselves at positions at which they are not comfortable is ridiculous. I really don't have anything against Vuni, but is the Wallabies plan to move Hunter to 12 to see what Vuni can do?

Wallabies already moved Hunter to 12 before Vunivalu came along, with the emergence of Ikitau as well now I don’t see this changing
