35 degrees by 10am , visiting teams early in the season could really struggle.
Did you go watch the training Bobby?
Yes it’s a pity the first round game against the Brumbies is in Canberra.Annoying thing is that we don't get to make use of that advantage until round 4
I think the divide in talent is pretty clear, but if you don't thats fine.
Despite being different games, if you looks at the players athletic profiles ie how well they perform athletically I don't think too many of the Reds lads hold a candle.
Izaia Perese looks a completely different athlete now to the one that was at the Reds, said he had never trained harder when he went to Red Hill etc - despite being the best Qcup back he can't find a way in just yet - but that might change next year. Fiji's U19 Rugby Union World cup player of the tournament is barely up to Qcup at this stage of his development.
This is not a shot at rugby, more just a realisation that many more people play league and that The Broncos have an enormous network of scouts to get the best ones and warehouse the rest from 13 years old.
Sounds like the Broncs had the better skillset by reading the above. How was their scrummaging, lineout and general ruck work? Or when you say skillset was better, they were better at passing? anything else?
21-year-old hooker Sean Farrell has been crowned the Reds' quickest forward after blitzing the team's speed trials on the Gold Coast this morning.

That’s surprising given the likes of Wilson, McReight and Wright aren’t exactly slouches.
Just goes to show you can’t just judge players fitness simply by how they look.
