OK, so I live in Marsden, work in Slacks Creek & finish work at 6. What's my best plan for getting to Ballymore on Friday in time for kick-off?

Divine intervention?
Seriously though, your chances are not good I don't reckon. Hopefully someone has a useful suggestion for you.

Yeah the public transport options look shithouse & I believe parking is a bitch. So far getting dropped off by wifey & her going to housie is the best I've come up with.

Depending on the game the parking can be just ok but I suspect they will get enough people to this one to make it not worth considering.
If there are any shuttle buses running from the city that would be your best bet by a long shot. Whether you get dropped into the city or train it in is up to you of course.
Getting dropped at the game by wifey could be problematic as sometimes the police won't let cars anywhere near the stadium without a parking permit so it can be a bit of a walk.

He'd have been in the ring if he hadn't broken his collarbone so I'm guessing the promoters want to get at least some value out've him. It's not just a league thing, too, with SBW the main event & Liam Messam on the undercard.
Messam has just belted this poor bloke for 4 rounds.

In regards to getting to Ballymore, wife drop off is best option or bus into city and then to RBWH busway stop followed by 15 minute walk.

WTF?

Can anyone tell me if the reds rugby site is having difficulties with the live stream of the match, or it is just not working on my iPad?

I am keen to watch it.

It wasn't hard to tell that this was the first (trial) game of the season, combined with high humidity, although
Duncan (Dropsy) Paia’aua couldn't blame the weather for his butter fingers, probably put it down to nerves. Pickles Frisby may well be running on in the No 10 jersey next week. The Rebels have certainly being practicing their defence during the off season, which gave them the win for the night, But it wasn't as though there were any sheep stations hanging on the result.
At least there were no apparent injuries, and the coaches would have filled their note books up,,,,,,,teach Duncan how to catch the ball, teach Du,,,,

Ah, the classic Aussie fix-all.

Thinking that I could possibly swap with someone & finish at 4, makes things way easier changing buses-wise plus an opportunity for a coupla quiet ones somewhere(s) along the route..... best pub within walking distance (on a hot & humid Friday evening) of Ballymore?

I am down that way as well, it will be tough for you, ney impossible. Getting into town is ok (leaving you about 40 minutes to get to the game assuming you are on the bus at Springwood by 6:10) but linking onto a bus for Herston will suck once you cross the river. Unless the Reds are doing shuttles? in the past Friday's has run shuttles taking drinkers to the game.

Best option is to somehow get a lift, as the parking sucks in the surrounding streets or drive to within at 15 to 20 minute walk and try and park in some shop carpark?

Shuttles from Roma St, Stop 125, to Butterfield St., Stop 518, from 5:30 to 7:20 & back until an hour after full time. Coupla bus changes in getting from Slacks Creek to Roma St but if I can swing a shift-swap it's doable.

Drive to Brisbane, brave the peak hour traffic, use the ICB to get to the RBH turnoff, then drive up Herston Road. Find one of the streets towards the top of the hill from Ballymore i.e. Scott Rd or Monro St and park there.
