Wow, I thought the Rebs had it but congrats to the kings.

Rebels will rue the lost opportunity here

This should put the Kings one point off the Stormers, shouldn't it? Wouldn't it be amusing if the Lions have to play off against the Stormers to get back into Super Rugby.
Kings are now 1 point behind the Stormers and got 1 more point on tour than the Bulls did.

as he should. hs decisions in the last 15 minutes were terrible. see Rebels 2013 for my comments.
Inman off JUST as he was making yards and finding holes in a tired defence, only to preserve ROBERTS' (a horrrrible player) place on the field, was at best, mind boggling.
absolutely happy to see the back of hill. he has added nothing and has been out of his depth. moving from uni syd, to suntory is not enough to coach super rugby. he needs to head off to europe and get some experience.
fuck that was frustrating to watch in the last 15.

Inman seemed to be limping, in Hill's defence. I thought he was subbed due to injury.

Would be furious at Reid, he had two costly brain explosions - throwing the ball to no-one off a break to put the Kings back hot on attack and then a yellow just after. Exactly not the the impact you want off the bench.

That being said, the Rebels lost it in the first 25 minutes of the second half. They had 83% possession, yet just managed to score 10 points to 3. They will always struggle if they can't get more rewards from that kind of dominance.

Inman's shoulder was shot. He was not right to go back on the field after it was injured and was subbed because of it.

Rebels only have themselves to blame for tonight. Too many bad decisions/mistakes. Jordy Reid's was a certifiable example of such.

Yeah, they showed Inman getting worked on by a physio briefly after he went off and he looked in pain and not happy. Didn't realise it was his shoulder, however.

Rebels needed to turn pressure, possession and territory into points, which they failed. They don't yet have the ability / confidence to defend a shakey 7 point lead for 15 minutes.

After watching this match, I am still at a loss to understand why the Waratahs have signed Phipps for 2014. Assuming it's to replace McKibben, who is awful but can at least kick goals, it's a bit like replacing the organ grinder with the monkey.

In this match tonight, there was a scrum which went for almost 5 minutes. It went something like this: front rows bound, both sets of 2nds taking too long, ref speaks to them and there is a discussion, in this time the front rows release their binds and the process starts again, crouch, touch, set, ball in, as half back picks up ball from back of scrum, referee whistles, orders reset and the whole process starts again and the 2nd time around the scrum looks exactly the same and the ref lets play go on. Somebody fix these scrums! (and tell the refs to get on with it)
