dont we have enough blue teams in the super14 already...

Its a darker blue. They could just play in a reversed jersey like the Victory away from home.
They will only be playing blue teams away from home 3-4 times a season.
Out of 20 games I dont think it would realy be a huge deal.

that is true, it is however better for the overall competition if teams can have there own unique colors, the western force state colors i believe are actually yellow, but there is obviously better marketing potential in blue.

certainly correct.

the only trouble is victoria is home to so many teams with all their own colours. footy, soccer and league (now union) all fighting for their own individual identities. coming up with a new scheme, different to all current one, without doing something ridiculous would be a battle. also, they obviously have to avoid the scheme matching too closely to any current vru club.

the rebels and axemen in their past incarnations have worn a predominantly dark blue jersey. it isnt like the state has no rugby history. thus, to me, blue seems the only way to go to me. a white jersey featuring blue would also tick the right boxes though.
