get the ball rolling early
cipriani is out and JOC (James O'Connor), Beale and Kingi should be back.

Squad thoughts?

Who should play 10? In Inman's absence do we slot Gerrard or Mitchell into 13

Henderson
Freier
Weeks
Pyle
Jones
Saffy
Chamberlain
Delve
Phipps
Beale
Vuna
JOC (James O'Connor)
Mitchell
Kingi
Gerrard

bench
Ged
Blake
Campbell
Davidson
Lipman
Lloyd
Huxley

if we had inman back our backline would be about as good as it gets.

Predictions?
Rebels by 3

Until the highlanders team has been announced its guess work.

Is Adam Thompson playing, who replaces Slade?

Noakes (who I reckon is better anyway)

Thomson should play, he wasn't injured last game.

Highlanders by a few - they don't pile on the points but they will be quite dominant throughout the game.

Hawko

Tony Shaw (54)
Its in Invercargill in the open in the evening. 80% chance of rain/sleet/snow with temperatures in negative territory (sometimes Fahrenheit). See Tahs vs Highlanders from two years ago. Choice of team from 1-9 is all that matters, the rest are at risk of hypothermia.

Miracle if the Rebels win, the Highlanders' forwards thrive on nights like this.

Well Cipriani is out but the background Miami Vice character is back (explanation see), Beale and Kingi should be fit (story)

The highlanders loose Hardie for the season (story)

Realistically I would be surprised if the Rebels could reproduce the same intensity two weeks in a row. I'm leaning towards the Highlanders but until I see the team list that confirms Thompson's strain was just a strain. I won't put points on it

I expect the team to be

1. Henderson
2. Robinson
3. Weeks
4. Jones
5. Pyle
6. Saffy
7. Chamberlain
8. Delve

9. Kingi
10. Bieber
11. Vuna
12. Johansonn
13. Mitchell
14. Gerrard
15. Beale

Personally, I'd have Phipps at 9, Beale at 10, Bieber at 12 and Kingi at 15. Can't see it happening though. Highlanders to win by 10 or so.

It's Invercargill. I would have thought it would have been more like chance of sun, rain, sleet and snow before lunch. Afternoon is anyones guess.

Kingi is out, so he can't play at 9.

I'd rather Beale at fly-half, JOC (James O'Connor) at inside. JOC (James O'Connor) really needs another playmaker alongside him.

I'll tip the Hhighlanders.
Same reasons as Hawko and Querty.
If it was in Melbourne, I'd be less certain.
Both these teams enjoy good home support.

"It's going to be a big game. A must-win for us. No doubt they'll have a few rock stars back. We'll have to show them a bit of wet weather," Mackintosh said.

Bit rich from Jamie, considering they've got Haskell. Big sledging from the deep south there.

Not happy about Kingi being out, early reports seemed to indicate that he'd play.

Phipps
Bieber
Vuna
Johansonn
Mitchell
Gerrard
Beale

Otherwise it will have to be something like

Phipps
Beale
Vuna
JOC (James O'Connor)
Mitchell
Gerrard
Huxley

Why does the starter have jersey 16 and the bench jersey 2??
