I thought that was a terrific game today. Really enjoyed the battle of the 10's and both back rows. Bobby V and Dickie were both immense. Gordon's flat ball to put his winger over for me just adds to the case for a Wallaby call up.

Carter Gordan goes up again in my book after this game. He was absolutely cooked and just kept playing. Doesn't make mistakes. guys so good

Crap way to end. That Brumbies prop must have given away 100 penlaties in 10 minutes and minished by crawling in a counter ruck and gets away with it

Was the counter ruck in from the side? It looked very easy. If the only complaint was that he crawled then that literally never gets pinged as long as the player doesnt lose their feet completely. Unclear if this is another shit rule or if it's another rule thats never enforced. Van Nek was actually pretty good though, and the Brums replacements are obviously well enough respected that the Rebs weren't confident going to an 8 vs 7 contest against them.

Hang on did Noah actually stare down the camera after his 2nd try & call out Carter? if so prob not the way to get Eddie to ring your phone pal
He did, think someone's a bit unhappy to fall down the pecking order. Gordon played well, but he did have his mistakes as well. Noah 2nd try is a direct result of an extremely poor kick by Gordon.

I cant see Bernie standing for this, his job is 50-60 min a week for the brums & the rest takes care of its self (ie wobs selection), are we witnessing for the 1st time in a long time someone putting themselves ahead of the brumbies system?

I fkn love it from Noah. Weird but fun. Agreed on Carter not having a perfect game, he was good but our kicking was dreadful, there were a series where he just kicked directly to the fullback
I could understand basically any other remark to the effect of “did you see that Eddie? Don’t count me out”, but name dropping CG and nothing else is, yeah, weird…

It's the main thing that will prevent him from being the main Wallaby 10 going forward next year. He also isn't taking spot kicks which at test level is essential. Noah, for all his flaws, is an 80%+ kicker.

I was going to mention this actually, IF hodge is leaving as i heard some people say, it will be the perfect gateway for Gordon to take conversions. If not, then who knows what the Rebels will do. Other than Nic white, can anyone else in the wallaby backs consistently take conversions? (assuming Gordon is on for Quade)

Nope. I think this will keep Hodge or Foley in the 23 this year. Realistically Quade could go down at any moment and they need someone who can come on and kick goals. Doesn't seem like Eddie is interested in Noah so that basically just leaves Hodge or Foley for the bench.

Hodge needs to prove he's worthy of being in the wallabies backline in these last few games, he has been pretty average on both attack and defense which is such a crucial role if you're going to play outside center.
