Rebels 2023 will be like Wallabies 2022, a year of hypotheticals and "if onlys".

If Leota, Philip and Hosea are fit, we have the heaviest forward pack by far in Australia and our scrum would be an absolute weapon. But doubt we'll see Leota or Philip all season (unless @MelbourneRebels want to give us an injury update?)

1. Gibbon
2. Uelese
3. Fa'amausili
4. Hosea
5. Philip
6. Leota
7. Wilkin
8. Ioane
16. Mafi
17. Orr
18. Eloff
19. Canham
20. Wilkin
21. Kemney

That's a chunky forward pack.

Aha exactly

Not quite sure how our backrow will turn out without Leota there. Ioane has upsides but far from reliable. Kemney, Wilkin, Hardwick are all super quality and deserve to be starting.
Think we will see Kemeny, Wilkin and Ioane as the backrow.

Philip and Leota was the little bit of class the pack had but gone without a ball passed.
