Back 3 good but suspect depth.

It's a weird squad. We have non-existent depth in some places yet heaps of depth in backrow and front row yet both wouldn't be in the top 3 starting backrows or frontrows.
Arguably the best pair of wingers in the entire competition yet anonymous centres within.

A good-looking bunch of Roosters we have here, hopefully the young fellas have a crack - Christian, the young TH Prop is a unit, his size and physicality is very much needed. Ripley had a good finish to the season as did Carter Gordon.

It was a pretty even split - Tuttle started 8 games and played 521 minutes, Powell started 6 but played 568 minutes.
I'm not arguing that the squad is worse than last year or that the Rebels should've hung onto these players, just that it's hard to argue cohesion is improved when multiple senior players in key positions have left. Not to mention the high turnover across the board - is there a position in which the Rebels haven't lost someone who featured this year?
These changes may well lead to increase TWI overtime, but I can't see how they do for next year.

'TWI' is secondary anyway. Cohesion matters most when you have the players and just need to choose how to stick them together. It's important in test rugby because typically most teams have a lot of high quality players to choose from (obviously some more than others). It's hurt the Wallabies because in theory they have the players but they almost never play together week on week.
If you don't have the players, which the Rebels haven't, it doesn't matter how many times they suck together. Squad looks alright IMO - if some of the younger guys come on and they stay relatively fit they won't be wooden spooners.
