Hosea is highly thought of, he’s literally back from injury only a few weeks ago. Was immense for the under 20s. Very good getting his hands on the ball come maul time and carry’s well in heavy traffic. Prefers to play in tight.
The big South African played well last week, Koegelenberg.
RHP will be around but really needs to show something this year, I believe the coaching team sees him as a 6 as much as a lock.
Ha’angana would need some time as well. Has been around for a few years so it might be make or break this year.
Away from the squad I have always been impressed with Fergus Lee-Warner at the Force. There is also always the likelihood that a player not getting time at another franchise might look South to get game time.
Brisbane boy Michael Stolberg has been looking decent for the Sunwolves, would definitely be worth a look.
I haven't seen Hugh Pyle play in awhile. He must be getting on though. Isn't he like 32 or something?
Have to say, these A team games have been a great innovation. Can't understand why the Reds haven't put in a side.
I asked the question. They have committed to the NRC as their development program and they didn't want to take away from the clubs' preparations.
I also suspect both cost and the fact that other clubs have pillaged their players may be a factor too.
Pillaged their players? Huh? The A games are made up primarily of non-playing contracted members and guys in the extended squad and academies. What's the NRC development like from January-July ? Non-existent.
the club program is pretty good up here. I know it isn't necessarily so in other places.
Club rugby? How's that relevant to NRC or the other states?
you asked what the NRC development was like from Jan to July, it's club rugby
But you used it as an excuse as to why the Reds don't have an A side.. it makes no sense - especially given club rugby hasn't started yet.
The man had visited the Mussel and Jazz Festival at South Melbourne Market on March 7 between 2 pm and 3.30 pm.
Later that day he attended a Rugby Union match between the Rebels and Lions at AAMI Park where he sat in section 9
