It seems that Dave Wessels was never a chance of going to the Rebs while Tim North and especially Rob Clarke were involved. Same with Coleman is my guess after reading the Hansard report, Coleman TBC?

Coleman has to be a great chance to go to Munster now. Munster have a second row injury crisis. Wessels and Coleman close. Timing is good.

It wouldn't be until December when the EOYT finishes if he decides to go now.

You can bet Cheika wouldn't let him leave early and would be doing everything he could to convince him to stay.

My bet is still that Coleman will sign to stay in Australia.

If they pick up Tadhg Bernie from Scarlets, it will be less of a crisis. Looks like the chances of that happening are quite strong too, more so than Coleman heading to Munster at this stage. I'd imagine Coleman still has a desire to play for the Wallabies, even with the shenanigans of cullin the Force.

He would be a great addition to Munster in December. Having a read a good deal about how poorly the Force players have been treated and the ill feeling towards the ARU, it wouldn't surprise me to see Coleman follow his Force coach overseas.

As far as I know Beirne is a done deal for next season. However Munster are terribly light on for locks at the moment and likely to be for a good chunk of this season. Their number one lock Jean Kleyn is seeing a neck specialist this week so if that's bad news they really only have one fit senior lock with any experience (Holland).

Yes, but I think the prospect of being a key member of the Wallabies with the RWC in less than two years (for a player who has never been to a RWC) is a huge drawcard.

Maybe he comes to a compromise and signs for the remainder of the 2017/18 season and heads to Munster at the end of the year, doesn't play Super Rugby in 2018, re-signs with the ARU and a Super Rugby side at the conclusion of the 2018 Super Rugby season and recommences playing for the Wallabies in June or the Rugby Championship in 2018.

just joking, though the best thing the Rebs could do would be to get rid of Clarke, problem is he has all the dirt, a scary proposition with the Senate enquiry around the corner.

Still not sure following the Clarke line but that's all good.

All the best to Wessels wherever he goes, always came across as a stand up bloke.

If it's not Murray Kinsella or Tom English, I don't trust a Rugby Journo as far as I can throw them.
