Well that's amazing news. One less thing to worry about. A few more wins, sneak into a finals spot and keep the core of the team together with some young talent and it's looking in 1000x better space than it was 12months ago.

Deal was only done recently, over food. No doubt Bacon was used to seal the deal.

The deal between Legacy and the Rebels goes beyond the usual sponsorship.
Legacy will not only support the Rebels but a rugby academy program, Rugby Victoria’s Quilt program against domestic violence and support several other initiatives for Pacific Islander inclusion.
Quilt’s #NotoViolence hashtag will also appear on their jersey.
Rugby Victoria is already producing multiple junior Wallabies and had hooker Jordan Uelese make his full Wallabies debut last year so all parties are confident they can reach many more people with the funding from the new sponsorship.
Legacy already has an elite sports academy but approached Rebels chief executive Baden Stephenson at a Latrobe University business breakfast 10 weeks ago.
For a club who haven’t had a major sponsor for three years, it was the sort of break they could only dream of.
“It’s only for two years but the vision and plans go for far longer than that – we have five and 10-year plans and we want to build something really special,” Stephenson said.
Legacy chief executive Jimaima Le Grand said her group wanted to use rugby to improve people’s lives.
“When we found out they have all these other programs like Quilt and all these other entities, that sealed the deal,” Le Grand said.
“It’s very important to us that through rugby and sports we can get to community groups.”

Yeah, there are scant details online about who they are.

Can somebody please translate this in to a value or amount of $$$ that the Rebels actually get?

There seems to be lots of words and descriptions like groundbreaking, revolutionary, unique, biggest of its kind, historic, beyond traditional sponsorship benefits and models........

The deal, which the team claims is unique for rugby and the biggest of its kind in Australian sport, will deliver a range of community initiatives designed to promote inclusion and combat social inequity, violence and injustice.
As part of the agreement, the #NoToViolence hashtag will be emblazoned on the back of the Rebels’ shirts during matches.
Legacy Property and Investment Group will provide financial support through the Legacy Elite Rugby Academy, along with funding for Rugby Victoria’s Quilt Program, a revolutionary initiative that supports a zero-tolerance approach to domestic violence against women.
The deal also includes a contribution to the development of the State Centre for Rugby at Bundoora in partnership with La Trobe University, which will include purpose-built facilities for the delivery of Pacific Islander inclusion, social connection and education programs.
The partnership will also support the ongoing growth of existing pathway programs in schools to align with the Legacy Academy and Quilt Program.
Rebels chief executive Baden Stephenson said: “This is a ground breaking and historic partnership that reflects our unshakeable commitment to resource, support and engage the Pacific Island and broader community.
“It is a first for rugby that will influence and drive significant outcomes in the community, elite pathways and high performance.”
Jimaima Le Grand, Legacy Property and Investment Group’s chief operating officer, added: “We are very excited to join forces with the Melbourne Rebels in a partnership that will extend well beyond traditional sponsorship benefits and models.
