Assuming the injury list hasn't grown, yes.

Worst case Scenario, Mafi isn't fit and we need to either play Leafa or Siliva as a backrow reserve, or bring in Haangana or Tupai or even someone else from outside the squad.

Will Miller is a back rower, H35. And IIRC was near Shute Shield Player of the Year last year, and maybe even NRC player of the year before that. Anyway, a good player, but is essentially a No 7. Not sure if you are short of 7s?

Reid and McMahon injuried. Mafi needs to pass a test so pretty short

Post was made before I knew about Sinclair and Miller, and I was only considering the Original Squad, plus Schatz and Sa'aga, who've been regulars in the 23 already because of our injury woes.

I really don't know who I think will stay or go anymore, but really don't think this extra time will change much, unless it goes on for another month maybe.

Either way, it's frikkin frustrating and I've started playing the "who else could I support?" game, just in case. Thing is, I can't think of anyone. Well, except for the Quins.

In that they are right, or that the Rebels are going to stay?
Look don't get me wrong. I'm not death riding .I love this club . My family and I are hugely invested in the history of the club and that's an investment that without braking out the violins has come at a huge personal cost .
It's just that I know the business model is completely unsustainable without massive change . Change that won't come .
So my strong suspicion (and again I hope I'm wrong )is that Mr Cox will milk this for all he can to get out without continuing to throw good money after bad .

Can you imagine the shit storm if rebels are retained and three years on he sells out?

I'm going to undertake some mental hygiene and log off for a while.

Love the sport, love watching it in Melbourne, can't bear to see it so mishandled. This saga is not good for my mental health, and the passion whirling around on this forum is only heightening the sense of doom-ticipation.

See you all when my resolve crumbles, and/or a resolution is reached. Hopefully it'll be a return with a sigh of relief.

I am about a day off doing the same. I'm a little exhausted reading some of the nonsense coming from people like it's gospel.

Maybe I need to just stay in the rebels thread and talk rugby

I'm excited about miller. I don't follow any Shute shield of sorts but if he's a class above at that level, what says he can't be another hodge

How have they signed him given there is a moratorium on signing players?

Id say it'd be a verbal agreement pending the current situation.

Team should be potentially out today for sat. Fingers crossed on Mafi.

I think we will see

1. Sa'aga
2. Hansen
3. Weekes
4. Day
5. Cummins
6. Timani
7. Fainga'a
8. Mafi
9. Stirzacker
10. JGB
11. Koribete
12. Hodge
13. Inman
14. English
15. J Deb

Those 16 players that are out aren't helping the situation.
