Naiyarovoro has been playing some OC for Glasgow and he wants out. Reckon he and Sefa could make a pretty mean offensive

They could. Can't see him going anywhere but the Tahs though.

He's had 2 or 3 quality performances for us, and the rest range from mediocre to ok. His time at outside center has mostly come because virtually all of our centers have been unavailable for long stretches.

Dunbar has been knee and then Hammy, Quad for Bennett, Shoulder for Horne, hip for Vernon and some sort of arm injury for Johnson, and our regular backups at center (fullbacks Glenn Bryce and Peter Murchie) have spent some time injured too.

He's best on the wing. The wing generally gives him more space to get momentum up. He's not an Inman, he won't make meters through shear force of leg drive. He has improved though. He reads the ball in flight more successfully, his hands are less titty like in contact and he's lost some of that belly.

The Wallabies cap seems to be hanging over his head, so he wants to fight for a place, can't do that in the West of Scotland. Can't see him go anywhere but the Tahs though. They'll have the necessary cap space, and he's very different from their collection of Guildford, Robinson, Carraro and Kellaway.

We'd be better off trying to convince a Jim Stewart to come down our way.

Mitch is clearly a good club man but his arsenal is a solid tackle, a half step/shimmy and, to quote Highlander (re. Timani) tits for hands.

I've thought Ellison has been great at 13 in attack and defence. If we can find a like-for-like replacement I'll be happy.

Don't know about his contract status, but former Aussie Sevens player Bill Meakes is playing quite well and fairly regularly for Gloucester in England. Could be a reasonable option for a center option.

Still, we need to win at least the next 2 to seriously be in contention for Finals. Preferably accompanied with at least 1 win against the Tahs and Highlanders, but a 50/50 record coming into the 1st bye with some reinforcements to come after would be enough to start with.
