According to Twitter he has been back training (conditioning only it seems). He is due for a scan IIRC

Rebels have signed Highlanders Super Rugby and Wellington ITM player Scott Fugilstaller for next year as openside back up to Jarrod Saffy. Also understand they have signed Angus Roberts who is starring at the moment for Sydney Uni in the Shute Shield semis as a 15/10. Young player with enormous promise.

Another foreign player? What happened with AJ Gilbert?

Fugistaller is a good player, tough and a very good ball runner. Odd that no Kiwi province gave him a go

I hope Lane signs with the Rebels, i can't see him getting much of a chance at the Reds behind Quade, Lucas and Harris. He's a cool headed player with a lot of potential. If he did that way he could play with Beale at Fullback and JOC (James O'Connor) at inside.

Yeah, the word says he's taken. He's damn good though but bloody overrated, in 2013 he's a great EPS pick-up and that's it.

We could sure use a specialist 10 though. Since Cipps left all we have are utilities, and Hilgendorf who's damn solid but should never be starting.

You should play Beale there.

That is the pathway to success for the Rebels in my opinion.
There's a huge argument either way. Personally I agree with you. He's looked good there when he has played - but what's best for the wallabies, and what's wrong with FB, shouldn't he keep progressing at 15?

O'Connor shouldn't be a half, he should be a centre, whatever his personal preference.
