RD 16: Rebels v Tahs

Forcefield

Ken Catchpole (46)
Damn straight. The Rebels are just plain dumb at times. It's embarrassing to watch. Noone really showering themselves in glory in this one.

This is dumb and dumber and dumberer. Just not sure which of Tahs, Rebels and referees fit which term.

Rebels maul over for what seems to be a try.. Held up ? By who, another rebels player, there was no Waratah in site. FFS

Is the refereeing as ridiculous as it seems at ground level?

It’s not great but not the worst, like others said the rebels are playing bloody dumb

And the crowd seem to be boo’ing at absolutely everything now which isn’t justified a lot of the time

That one is at least explainable if not correct - if the ref can't see the try, and the TMO can't either they can't guess and give it.

The shoulder charge was as clear a penalty try as it comes. Hooper had given up chasing and he was the only other defender within the same suburb

That's nearly a penalty try as well. Would love to see how close the other defenders were to that tackle without the ball
