Fainga'a, who took over the captaincy in the absence of Stirzaker, was gutted by the performance.
"A bit of adversity came our way and we weren't good enough to adjust out there," Fainga'a said.
"It was an extremely disappointing result for us.
"We'll have a good review and a lot of hard truths are going to come out of that game."
well the hard truth is, as a "team" they are not good enough at this level. the coaching staff have been abysmal in getting any cohesion or skill improvement. If i were Mr Cox i'd be selling for whatever price i can get.

Oh dear with focus on force or rebels to cut that was hardly an advertisement on why rebels should not be cut.

We do need a Halfback flown down to Melbourne yesterday as well.

Scott Gale would be the best short term option if he's still around I reckon.

If we're thinking Bips replacement (still off to the Not nots?), then either Gus Fowler or Harrison Goddard have been involved in the U20s system in the past 2 years.

Otherwise, who are our local options?

Yamada was the fourth stringer for the NRC, and both Murray and Van Zyl will brought through the Junior systems.

Any other Options I missed?

Scott Gale would be logical one as was probably unlucky not to get a Super Rugby gig and way better than snowden who baffles me how still on the books

This is the first match ever, I have not watched. Have it recorded I just can't bring myself to watch it.

Sad state of affairs when I'm not willing to watch a game, actually drove past the team bus this evening. Normally would feel a sense of pride seeing Rebels advertisement but tonight more disappointment.

Gale is off to Japan very soon so won't be available. A quality player, will be a loss to Aussie Rugby - was jettisoned far too soon IMO.

Goddard is heading down to Melbourne, another good option would be Waldo Wessels from the Shute Shield.

It just goes to show (AGAIN) how much a loan system in Australian Rugby would be beneficial; how we could do with a Cadeyrn Neville and a Matt Lucas right now....
