R3 Reds v Chiefs, turmoil in Townsville?

Saturday 7:45 pm.

Form LL v WW:
Chiefs 40 - 19 v Brumbies at home
Force 19 - 20 Chiefs away, tight one with Force having most of the possession.

Are the refs appointed yet? Perhaps the Aussie teams are getting closer to clicking with the Kiwi refs. Brad wants to play the Kiwis - let's see if he can show the fans why.

Come on Reds, do well.

If the reds can attack well as they did in patches against the Crusaders and show some urgency on defence and at the breakdown could be a close encounter. Generally hard to pick some of these games as not sure what Reds teams is going to show up.

Interesting that only one oz fan started one rd3 match thread vs kiwi fans starting 4 other match threads..is this a sign of how much oz vs kiwi interest in TT at this point. Maybe you might be the lucky omen for the reds dru.

The West Australian secession movement are sharpening their pitchforks, lighting their torches, and stretching their lynching ropes as we speak. As with any good revolutionary they shall furrow their brows in the impure blood of the East Coast elites.

Liam Wright definitely finding form.

Nasser also showing a lot of improvement getting some QPR under his belt.

Probably the most threatening back line we could put on the field . Guessing Henry has been told to pass the f*#^king ball to the guns outside him . Congratulations to him for his run on debut .

I will watch Isaac Henry with interest.

Would also prefer Jock @ 15 for sure.

Having said that I fully expect us to bounce back and get back in the winners circle. We've traditionally done pretty well v the moo loos.

Is Jock injured? He was great playing at 15 in the early part of the season. Hegarty has had a few runs now, seemed like he was being relied on to implement and/or defend some kind of kicking strategy which has been poor tactical choice in both TT games so far. Campbell showed alot more in terms of his ability to return the ball with pace, threaten and put away his wingers.

For Aussies who have not been following things over the ditch, how does it rate WoB?

^ scrum, lineout & maul aren't too flash but they're exceptional at setting up & winning midfield rucks. So if I'm Brad Thorn I'm saying kick long & put it out; don't get isolated & turned over or pinged; and ffs don't give DMac any space & time. Easier said than done but IF Reds can play a territory game & put them under scoreboard pressure there's no reason they can't get a W. Gotta say, though, that based on their last two performances I'm not sure Reds are capable of doing that.

Really looking forward to the 6-7-8 battle, it's gonna be a beauty!
