Wynnum and Caboolture definitely leaving to joint sunny coast Comp.

QSRU spending more time trying to stop them rather than outline a competition structure.

While QSRU committee needs to go - they are poison.

Assuming no new clubs then three comps with Two Saturday and One Friday should work.

No point worrying about what has happened. Strengthen the current comp in the hope of bring them back into the fold.

Pine Rivers won't have 2 teams and also I think Logan will struggle with 2 teams. Redlands will be in the 1st grade comp.

But none of this will be confirmed until probably 2 weeks before the season begins due to QSRU poor organisation.

Anyone have info on how the season played out? I saw an 80-0 result in the Pegg Cup final.

Wests bulldogs aka the blackdogs ended up 3peating in the Normanby cup.

The competition seemed better in Normanby with inclusion of Ipswich and Griffith Uni. Allthough it would of been nice to see the brothers Normanby cup return as it had some really good players with their use by date well truely passed but can provide the ability to put up some big time scores

Brisbane Irish played a undefeated season to push out the Hustlers in what was a game too far for them for the season.

Relatively sure that the Irish will be up one Division next year assuming that they do things like that.

Hopefully they can have the Friday night Comp relegation one as well to encourage closer games and more participation.

Have QSRU managed to get Wynnum back in the competition? Seems ridiculous they play in the Sunshine Coast competition?

Nope. Caboolture and Wynnum are still playing in the Sunshince Coast Comp.

Barber Cup schedule is on Rugby Xplorer by the looks with Riverside, Goodna, Everton Park, Pine Rivers, Brisbane Irish and Redlands kicking of on the 21st of march.

Pegg Cup is North lakes, Southern Bay, Logan City, Hustlers, Ipswich, Springfield.

So new is Logan with Redcliffe and Beenleigh out of the Comp.

Normany Cup at the moment has dropped to five teams.

Ipswich,
Brisbane Irish,
Beaudesert,
Riverside,
Logan City.

Wests, Souths, UQ Med and Colleges Knights gone from last year. Logan City in. A lot of travel for the Friday nighters so that will be interesting.
