Yeah he got caught out by the bounce back and it went into his chest.

I think you can technically ground it with your chest but we was well out by then.

Was just talking to mate in Brisbane who was at game, he said same as you Spam, has been a little disappointed with atmosphere, said it felt a little flat. Wasn't really bad or anything, and as he said perhaps after we came over to a couple in 2017 when Lions were in NZ he was expecting similar. He actually Welsh so why we came to a couple in 17. But we still laugh as we we walked down to train station in central Auckland, the chanting form Station was so loud etc we swear the lights were pulsating ro it. There was Lions, Lions .Lions, then All Black, All Blacks etc just ringing out, then on trains to Eden Park, set the whole atmosphere, and never really stopped. Just something I really enjoy, almost organic cheering, no man on microphone geeing anyone up. Also he corrected me and said Lions supporters were singing 'Sloop John B'. And we had spent the days of games with a mixture of supporters etc, so was brilliant.

Very true, but it was disappointing considering the team the Reds put out there
Do you think it's also got something to do with Lions also bring on bench full of test players, and super teams don't have that luxury (especially with test players out)? I didin't think the Reds looked to bad, until the Lions looked like they wore them out.

Not despondent or overly analytical, just reflective. The 2013 AU tour had its blowouts, but the Qld game was great and in the 2017 NZ tour the domestic teams were very competitve, even grabbing a couple of wins. I'm not sure I see the Brumbies nabbing a win like last time, especially minus their Wallabies. But then last tour here I think we were 3rd in the World at the time with all the home nations below us, this time we're 8th and they're all above us bar one and there sure aren't many players from that team running around.

Iit was a tight game for 40 minutes same as the week before. I’d have hoped qld would let in 15 less but hardly a disaster.
Lions destroyed almost all teams in mead up to SA tests. Warstahs should go ok. Brumbies missing a lot of wallabies tho

at unsw back in the early 70s they had a yearly flour fight between medicine and engineering on the library lawn. went on for hours over lunch with firehoses being introduced out of the chancellery and the maths building after an hour or so
i barracked for medicine and that is the only time i ever barracked for medicine which shows how much i love engineers|
live in hughes, canberra a suburb which originally housed many of the anu's academia but now engineers friggin' everywhere
all the best, mark
