Queensland Reds 2024

Not to lead the team. We need an experienced 10 and Lynagh to continue his development getting minutes. HMP needs to be in the main squad first. Give him another year of club rugby and then to see where him and Lynagh are at. Lynagh a playmaking 10 and HMP a running style. If he was bigger you want him in the centres.

Great LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) is coming back to Australia, the big question is why not QLD?
If Jones is retIrving due to medical, there’s absolutely a spot for him.

maybe LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) is a new star player and that wouldn’t need further explaining…

does anyone know which player agent LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) is aligned too?

Mafi, Taniela and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) were pretty much the three amigos. Not surprising the Rebels leading the race to have all three.

Any chance Thorn will be sticking around Ballymore in a different role? Or maybe the Reds aren’t able to confirm he will definitely be out of the building which is keeping a few guys from returning.

Isn't his family from NSW? It'd make more sense for him to end up in Sydney than Melbourne considering how many Locks the Rebels have plus Leota at 6.

With Hooper and no doubt Beale being off the Tahs books, they'd surely be throwing cash at LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) to join so Holloway can go to 6 and Swinton to the bench.

Tahs definitely a good fit given no real lock competition there plus he’s from NSW and of course Tahs are a better side..

Tahs have FLW (Fergus Lee-Warner) and Amatosero joining and with Hanigan, Holloway, Swinton and Harris have enough cover at 6.

On the Rebels 2024 thread it says Philip and Hosea leaving for Japan

Tahs keeping Hanigan and Holloway - have picked up Amarosino and Fergus Leewarner.

Whilst he would be a good fit, it costs money to bring him and I don't think there is space. With Swinton and Gleeson in the backrow, makes it hard to move Hanigan, Holloway or FLW (Fergus Lee-Warner) to 6.

Could be wrong, but I think he'd more likely be partnering Philip at the Rebels or Rodda at the Force

The last couple of performances in NZL must have some potential new head coaches more enthusiastic about working with this team.
They certainly seem to lift when they are over there. Some very good individual performances, I can imagine prospective coaches looking at Wilson and McReight and thinking about what they could do with them. Real shame for Liam Wright with the injury though, he has been in such good form.

After watching his performance for World XV I think the first job of the next HC should be to try and move heaven and earth to bring Hockings back. Bloke is in unbelievable form and is still only 24.
