Haha yeah... Brumbies GF at home infront of a passionate 5000 people.Brumbies beat the Chiefs and Blues beat the Crusaders then the Brumbies host the GF. Maybe then Canberra might get behind this team.

It's not the wingers. It's the defensive structureBoth of their wingers are showing why they have yet to play test rugby.
Unless you're an Aussie teamstraight throws are clearly no longer a thing, even by the new laws
The were offside all night. Sometimes by 3-4 meters. No idea what be the touchies were doingNot so. The free kick isn't taken until the ball is moved by the foot. In fact, all the Canes players who raced up from the line should have been pinged for off side.
So the Brumbies defensive structure is for their wingers to miss on on one tackles? That defensive structure won't win test matchesI do

They had an in defence which created space on the right wing. It's a defensive structure and it leaves the winger having to make up a heap of ground to make a tackle when the ball manages to get wideSo the Brumbies defensive structure is for their wingers to miss on on one tackles? I tell you what. When he took that tackle with 20 seconds left instead of kicking shows he has a good head on him. I can't say the other options would have taken that tackleThat's a pretty good win, not really a bad performance out there though the lineout wobbles are a worry. Aside from the usual suspects I thought Lonergan and Noah were exceptional. Noah in particular will get minimal love on here but if Donaldson or Lynagh produced that game in a semi vs a kiwi team there would be no shortage of ejaculate spilling through the match thread. Contestable kicks perfect, ball playing continues to improve and offering more of a run threat as well.
Earlier Facebook postRyan Lonergan again put in a very impressive effort. Managed the Brumbies game well and finished on top of Roigard which is no mean feat. Of course, others will say he is playing behind a dominant pack and if only the No 9 of their choice had that luxury. Lonergan is definitely in the top two No 9s in the country and probably best suited of them all to start a game.
Jimmy Slipper is another who has continually impressed this year. A big part of that "dominating" scrum and very busy and effective around the ground. As good as Angus Bell is, right now the Wallaby front row probably should be Slipper, Pollard and Ala'alatoa.
Anyone know why Declan Meredith missed the game. Pretty sure Jack Debreczini was a late replacement on the bench.

Winner winner Chicken dinner, and for your effort in fucking winning the game, you have to go play the Cheifs who lost at home.. Stupid Super Rugby
