looks fairly promising, having a massive frame is always a pretty good starting point. We don't have a luxury of tall timber in Australia, surely someone like the Tahs would be willing to take a punt on him.

Mckellar and the Brumbies have signed him

If the squads aren’t announced before Saturday you’ll all get a chance to see them. City v Country trial on Saturday at Souths. 12pm

centres and wings will be most interesting, that's where the Reds are still short a few players at the moment IMO

For god sake the squads are well into training can't they not release them to the rugby community.

It's a bit hard to form an affinity for either side unless you know who'll be in them.

Don’t stress. The info is filtering in on a individual basis... my money is on team announcements tomorrow.

Someone announced from the Bulldogs for Country that nobody saw coming. Really happy to hear about it. I won’t spill. Let’s just just wait a little longer bulldog.

I believe it has been held back because of the RWC squad announcement, possibly if someone was named in an NRC squad who was thought to be going to Tokyo it would give away that they had been left out of the RWC. Anyway, Saturday apparently is when NRC squads announced. Reds contracted players are all in the squads and then any spaces left are for club guys.

Fair point, the inclusion/exclusion of someone like Jordan Petaia in any NRC squad would have a pretty significant impact.

I hear the problem is with the Forwards (especially front row). Players are either injured or tired after a heavy season workload.

I don't buy it.

Just include such players with the proviso that if they're called up, they're called up.

Leaving me pretty despondent over NRC. No push at all. Can’t really consider it a serious comp in 2019.

Pretty simple guys.

Someone go have a sticky beak down at Souths tomorrow and take photos of post a list from the inter squad training session

We don’t need the QRU announcement. We have people power!!

Interesting...

Imagine turning down a offer to play higher grade of football?

I don’t imagine lot of money is on the table but NRC selection is a massive opportunity to showcase your skills..
