If he wants to play with Pocock and O'Connor, get them to come east. Especially if Pococks deal with the Force is an assurance they'll 'be competitive'.

I think that Oconnor and Pocock would be more likely to move to a winning team.

I wonder if the losses of 2 players and the chance of not renewing Morgans and losing Braid because of the amount of time he has been here would allow us to get back either of the 2? Pocock would be good to replace Braid

I suspect that quite often they announce the length of the ARU contracts but the players seem to often have options.

Yeah I think Rocky has a 2 year deal with the ARU but only a one year deal with the Brumbies. Rocky has said he wont talk about next year until this season is over. Not sure if he is needed at the Reds as much as Pocock would be.

yeah you're right meatstock (welcome to the board by the way).

ta.

I see Kingi's signing to the Rebels is now official, but we all saw it coming weeks ago. Good luck to him; with the number of kids he has and playing second fiddle to Genia I'd move too.

With Hodgson stepping up for the Force I hope we've got someone sounding out Hodgson & Pocock for next year (Not that I know what kind of contracts they're on now). Especially since I haven't heard anything from the ARU about a Braid extension. The new Brumby 7 Hooper sounds promising, but I heard they've already locked him up for 2 years; might be able to complete our Faianga collection though...

i think i remember hearing that Braid has pretty much settled to head north hence why the QRU have not persued the idea of getting a extension

How many kids has Kingi got?? Isn't he like 12?

Question should be, how many wives has he got? Or in Biffo's case, how many has he had? :lmao:

talks earlier in the week that Davies has re-signed for 2 more years and then that today Humphries as re-signed for (I think) one more year and Rob Simmons for 2.

Nothing confirmed yet, just paper talk.

yes, that paper.

As I said. Just paper talk.

Nothing confirmed yet, as in QRU web site.

If we took it as given anything that was in the paper then the Rebels would now have Rocky, Berrick and Freier on their books.

with Van around for one more year, there is now absolutely no reason for Deans not to pick him (assuming he's one of our two best locks). The World Cup is a very real chance for him now.

Let along last years stories of the Reds loosing Ioane to Japan and gaining both Chapman and Rocky

Humphries must have it stipulated in his contract that he can play with a walking frame.

he will be getting round rolling c#*ts in a wheel chair soon. Good on him.

He would compliment Douglas well and do the world of good with his development.
