That GPS Fiji trip sounds great!

saw some hospital cup winner odds and was surprise to see GPS sitting in 2nd place.

the new coach at St Lucia and the all the whispers of a toxic club out at Crosby road have those 2 below the gallopers.

do the odds makers knows something the general public doesn’t happening at Yoku Road, perhaps a couple of one way tickets back from Fiji for some new recruits?

GPS have kept pretty much their entire squad from 2022, only losing 1 or 2 players but have gained from what I understand around 5 genuine 1st graders from other clubs during the offseason.

Obviously, nothing is cemented until the actual season starts, but if you're looking for a team whose been consistently around the pace for the last few years, GPS have been pretty good and haven't lost much in 2023.

The Heenan change has obviously stirred up many people outside the UQ organisation, I'm expecting things to be leaner there than the UQ faithful want to admit.

I expect Brothers to finish with a very wet sail come finals time, if they're in with a sniff of the top 4, they'll be a good chance of winning it all once their troops all come back. Their biggest season hurdle will be playing politics between some of the blokes who've been there a while and some of the new faces the coach has brought in. Pup McCormack has been spotted around the traps, nothing official happening as yet but if he's pulling a few strings you know they'll come good.

Norths at 51.00

sorry I can’t tell you what app it was, the colour of the app (screenshot) was red and grey so I think it’s ladbrokes

I saw on my own app (TAB) wests is 2.60 tomorrow while Sydney University is 1.45

that’s great value for the champion bulldogs at home.

I heard of a lock and no8 from rebels also playing… sorry I don’t have any names.
doesnt surprise me.
UQ has a few of their Reds wider squad playing the trials tomorrow as well. Seems the train of though is to get as much rugby into them as possible in case they are needed for higher call ups.

I expect Creighton will play for Brothers along with a few others like Christenson brothers.

Tim Cardall and Tamati Ioane from what I hear, plus Sorovi and a few extras
Great that they're getting plenty of their rebels back, but having Tim Cardall (and Ioane if he wasn't previously registered for Wests) for this game feels a little bit "outside the spirit" of the contest. Not a huge thing, just rubs me a bit the wrong way.

Probably as much an issue with it being played so long after the final as anything else.

The NRL have Anasta on the panel for years. No one complains about that.

QPR is an amateur comp, stop whinging.
I actually think that makes it worst - especially at the amateur level where players are transitioning to pro footy, its no secret his players get plenty of mentions during the game. I hear the same running joke around the traps, I would hate to see the feedback if Picone had an opportunity to commentate a Reds game, Im sure the game would get a lot more viewers.
