You would think he isn't in the Wallabies squad, it's due to be announced shortly but has been confirmed Foley has been added as 10 cover.

Possible he is resting because Wests are safe? They might just run him on the end the game so he can get his games up.

I did see the Foley chatter but there’s been much discussion about promoting one of the other prodigy flyhalves… squad announced at 330pm so wait and see.

There is no quota for contracted players only for non-contracted.

Well last year that only applied for the reds contracted players and not the rebel players.

If this was the case I wonder why wests didn’t roll out a full strength lineup last year featuring the likes of Trevor Horsea and Matt Gibbon

Also team finals qualification - if two teams/clubs finish on same competition points the first parameter used to split them is games won, then if the same it goes to for and against, then if still not split it might go to tries scored and lastly a coin toss.

It definitely hasn't been the case in the past, I probably bring this up every year but GPS missed out McMahon and Hegarty playing finals a number of years ago because they were Rebels contracted.

Yeah it’s definitely the registration date.. remember Paisami came back from wallabies camp last year and was a chance to play in the semi finals but his club hasn’t registered him for the year.

hopefully not the case this year because he was suppose to be named as flyhalf but got selected in Squad versus england so never got to turn out in qpr
