Looking forward to Jeeps bouncing back with a big win over the struggling Norths tomorrow at Shaw Rd. Too much class in both forwards and backs for the boys in sky blue and will surely put a dampener on their Lady Day celebrations. Looks like all of the Eagles big signings are either injured or elsewhere, which is a shame for the club. Freney to dominate up front with both chat and physicality. Anyone got a bolter for the Prems Rep side to play Qld Country?

Legaleagle i suggest you watch the video of the Wests' skipper Alec Jones on:https://www.facebook.com/QLDPremierRugby/
where his mantra is always respect your opponent!!

No one really appreciates arrogance being exposed on this forum.

Surely something needs to be done about Pickle and Tuttle playing at the same club. If you're not the premier half at your prem grade club what's going on? Alot of premier grade sides would love that quality in there outfits

Peter Slattery & Brian Smith both played for Wests at the same time

Nothing like an upset, especially on ladies day. Norths defence huge in the last 10.

This competition continues to produce some amazing results. You have to hand it to Uni, they know how to win.

Yes it's amazing - before today you could nearly have been tempted to say that Easts & Souths were nearly gone and now they are 3/4 points outside 4th(Bulldogs) mind you Bros are in line with those two but have had their second bye as has Snbk(3rd) and we're all about to turn up the heat on GPS(2nd)!!!!

Well done to Norths(8th) on their win today which puts them only about 5 points adrift of the Bros/Easts/South pack.

By my calculations give or take a bonus point the points table is:

1 Uni 46
2 GPS 28
3 Snbk 26
4 Wests 24
5 Easts 20
6 Bros 19
7 Souths 19
8 Norths 14
9 Bond 7

Ahhhhhhh, thought Brothers nearly had a win today, but it wasn't to be. UQ got a try in the end to seal it. The pleasing part of the day was the effort given by the Premier players. There's been a tough couple of rounds this year, losing to Sunnybank and UQ by large margins, but Brothers showed a lot of ticker today against the form team of the comp at their home ground. It's always a good battle at Uni. Onto GPS next week, hopefully Brothers can put in another solid effort.
Well done to all winning teams. It appears Souths are in form at the moment, I think they'll be the ones to watch.

Just going to throw out a purely hypothetical scenario but what happens if Will Genia returns to Qld Reds and decides to leave his previous allegiance with the bulldogs to align himself with his brother Nigel at GPS?

That would be 3x halfbacks signed to Qld Reds and in a purely hypothetical scenario where all 3x halfbacks are asked to play club rugby on the weekend then the current Premiers GPS halfback would be bumped down 3 teams and starting for 2nd grade.

A great result for the Norths team.

I think you'd find if Will Genia does sign with the reds then it will be at the expense of either Frisby or Tuttle.
