Brandon will be looking forward to testing his defence against the Thor!!

Gordo and Jimmy Moore are still a bit dusty from their run in with the Thor in the above segment.

It also shows that you don't want to fall off tackles against Brothers because Greene is a great support runner.

Filth 2 mores sleeps until one of the best days of the year - let's hope that there are two more to come in 2015 including the big one in early August.

Good luck to the Filth let's hope it a cracker on Saturday - get there early for your Gotzinger's.

Hi Tigerland,

Episode 5 is not out yet, the first Easts vs Bro's game is a great watch... I just put the clickbox in at the end of Episode 4 so that when I do put out the next one I can go back and link them all up.. wouldve been ideal to get it out before the rematch but alas won't happen

Thanks Waterboy - I hope you put footage of the Easts comeback in Episode 5 and have Greenie talk us through that second half.

I am not a great Bros/Greene fan but I respect them and think this series is interesting as it shows how hard someone needs to work to get to the next level, Greene obviously works hard on his game and the product of that work is there for everyone to see in his improvement into a more complete player in 2015.

Of course... the Tigers win is a great moment (for Easts) and will definately be there. Sam is the focal point of the series, but the aim is to document what happens, win or lose as accurately as possible. If Sam has a bad game, it will be in there.

Thanks Waterboy - great work.

I don't think Greenie's had too many of them (bad games) this year and he was very good in that Anzac Day clash against Easts, probably his best ever game against Easts. I left Crosby that night with a higher regard for him - not that my opinion will get him too far in his rugby!!!

The Tiger's home crowd will give him a big welcome on Saturday.

For someone so young he certainly polarizes people's opinions in QPR.

Good luck to him and to you Waterboy.

TT, did the GF between Easts v GPS in 2013 draw the biggest crowd in recent times?

Bros v Wests in 06 had around 6000;

Easts v Bros in 08 only had around 4500;

Easts v GPS in 13 had at least 9000.

I recall Uni v SC struggled for numbers in 2010 as the weather was atrocious.

In my opinion, Facebook and twitter etc. has played a part in the increase in grand final numbers. In 2013 the Reds made a massive push to inform rugby fans of the QPR GF.

Last years' GF between the Bank and Uni drew plenty.

Filth I think so the 2013 was a massive crowd (9000 +) bolstered by the fact that the QRU promoted it as "Back to Ballymore" and the fact both Easts & GPS really pushed it through their junior clubs and both had huge tunnels made up of their juniors for the start of the game.

Easts promote their home games to the juniors because if the juniors come Mum/Dad has to come with them - this year we have had one junior side run out with the Prems for each home game.

On crowd numbers I have just recently been gifted by a colleague a copy of Jim Tucker's "Brothers in Arms - History of Brother Rugby Club", I don't think this colleague likes me!!! But I remember being at Ballymore in the late 1970s/80s (Brothers were there on most of those occasions) and they drew huge crowds - would be interesting to see how they stack up.

It's interesting to read the accounts of the 1971 and 2008 grand finals - I dare say that if the history of Easts is ever recorded as well as Jim Tucker has then the account of those events might be written differently - there is always two sides to a story and generally the truth lies somewhere in between.

I would have liked Jimmy to include this little story that Rupert McCall tells:
Rupert says he was playing a Welsby Cup final at Bottomley and was try line bound when Graham Holt came from nowhere and bundled him into touch a meter out. Holty jumped to his feet, chest pumped and said "write a poem about that you Brothers xxxx".

For so many years Easts wouldn't be a chance of knocking off Brothers and Tiger victories were few and far between but I much prefer that we have tended to share victories of more recent times e.g. Welsby Cup 2011 Easts def Bros at Bottomley and then in 2012 @ Crosby Bros def Easts.

Grand Finals between the two clubs:
1971 - Bros;
1984 - Bros;
2008 - Easts ....

It is too early to call whether we might both be there in 2015 but Saturday will be a good gauge as to where both club's 2015 chances are at.

A Brothers v Easts grand final would go over 10,000 easy. Two massive fan bases...with a lot of drunk young men!

Very excited for the Premier, Reserve & Colts games this weekend, all big clashes

T12 - the winner of Prem Colts will probably get 4th spot and in Prem Reserves Bros will be minor premiers but Easts need one more win to lock down 4th and a win over Bros would give them a shot of confidence heading into the finals.

Rnd 16 previews & team are on Qld Reds website.

Easts as per last week except White is back @ #13.

No Paraka, Gunn or Turner.

Fritz will be glad that AJ(LH) gets another crack at the Thor(TH). The Thor will also need to deal with Ready in his left ear giving him some tips on the run.

Can't wait for that first scrum.

Filth what are your thoughts after seeing the line ups?

Tell me if you could: what position did Giles
Beveridge play for Bros & QC (Quade Cooper) last year - I thought it was more on the wing.

Is he a chance to wear #15 when Hyne departs?
