Heard it was Saturday morning on the eve of major semis for GC Local rugby. Sad times for gold coast rugby to lose such a passionate and hard working supporter of rugby at all levels on the Coast.

Jets - a little birdy told me that the Sunnybank Community Club grant stream to the Rugby Club may have run its course and be no longer - is that correct?

Sunnybank Community & Sports Club (Sunnybank Rugby Union Club) is poised to post a record month of trade for any licensed club in Qld with over $20M in turnover.
The current grant to Rugby hasn't been increased since 2011 when monthly turnover was closer to $15M per month.
Might be time for an increase??

Wouldnt it be good of the qru could release a whole list of points for the Alec Evans medal. I'm sure some players would love to see if they got any or where they were in the leaderboard
