Hey guys, just wanted to get some thoughts around the BGS team this week considering they haven't played an official fixture this year following their bye last week. I know this might seem a little left field considering their loss against Downlands last week, but I've heard some chat and personally, I've got them pinned in to win the premiership this year, knocking off Nudgee. Rumour out of the preseason camp is that Charlie McCauley has added an extra few kegs and skills to his bow, an impressive feat coming off his rookie of the year performance in 2021. Fresh off his Qld reds u18 selection which encompassed a dominant display of speed and aggression, I'm expecting nothing less of him being awarded GPS player of the year after leading the BGS lads to a premiership. Coming off the back of his GPS first XI premiership earlier in the year, outside-centre William Sheedy has already tasted victory this year and is competing in his first flagship game after a long three year wait after undergoing rehab. His creativity matched with his monstrous size, many have referred to him as the brick wall on wheels. I've had some inside access to drone footage of the BGS camp and Will Sheedy is going to eat up this Toia bloke for breakfast!!! Round 5 will be a bloodbath for Nudgee as Grammar humiliate them on Ross. My prediction - The Normanby Blues by 30. Anyways, those are my opinions, would love to hear your opinions.
