And So will I . In typical BBC fashion you are looking way too far ahead.
If your 12 ,7 or your 15 from last year get injured it is bye bye back- to -back.
12 has moved back to 10( his best position).If those 3 stay fit you will be very very good.

Don’t try fuel him up - One punter does not make it typical fashion BW.

Most of us will know missing Gordon and Howarth along with front rowers and other good players will make playing the top teams a very tough task for BBC this year.

Exactly.
You don't lose the 2 best players in the comp(Howarth & Mason) and the best prop(Romano) -and expect to win the next year.
The first 2 are once in a decade players:
-Howarth-scored 2nd most tries in a year in history of comp/voted by CM as best schoolboy of any code/named in World schoolboy team by Rugby UK;
-Gordon -Jnr Wallabies and Prem Grade at 17. Voted by CM as 2nd best schoolboy of any code;
-.Romano -Jnr Wallabies 1st year out of school.
Those are not holes to fill -they are Grand Canyons.
3rd is a good result.

I agree with you.I have been watching/Coaching GPS rugby for over 30 years and have seen all the best players from Lynagh,Elsom,McMahon,Tomane,Genia,Gagai,Barnes, Lolesio,Hosea,Ikitau, Lucas,etc .
I have only ever seen 2 players utterly(every match) dominate the whole competition-Elton Flatley and Jack Howarth.
2 best players i have seen.

Yep the 2 'local' new boys are also impressive specimens and in the top echelon of the U16 age group - if the NZ boys can play they are certainly building an impressive squad for the 22/23 seasons.

Talk of some very big wingers at ACGS this year.I did not see any last year or in 16 As.Would they be local or NZ boys?

I know nothing of any wingers, the locals (I mentioned) are 1 back-rower (No.8) and a 10, 12 type who could play anywhere in the backs but isn't what I would call a 'big winger', additionally both are 16.

The TSS 15 is Jye Gray, broncos development contracted.
He looked extremely electric before his injury last season, big year for him

BBC backline has a huge potential this year. Annan shifting to 12 will be interesting. Him and Homan in the centers will cause headaches (and maybe some broken bones) for whoever they play. Only weakness I think is the back three, they are seriously lacking talent at 14 and 15, which is problematic.

9. Peron Faimalo (returning from 2020)
10. Harry MP (Moana Pasifika) (returning from 2020, in my opinion will be second best 10 in the comp behind Schmidt)
11. Nicholas Matauiau (BBC's new year 11 import, has played in the centres for QLD before. Very big kid)
12. Taj Annan (no intro needed here, one of the top players in the GPS this year)
13. Jarrod Homan (returning from 2020, has packed on some serious size in the offseason)
14. Noah Fielding (2nd XV last year, has played QLD before but not big nor strong by GPS standards)
15. Blake Davis (2nd XV last year, played 9 for some first XV games. When I first saw this move I was extremely suprised by it, still not sure if its the right call but not many other options)

Depending on the performance of the back three Annan may shift back to fullback, Davis to 9 and Faimalo to 12.

You do know that you need good forwards to win games? Who have you got from last year worth mentioning?
Nudgee, TSS and Churchie have it all over BBC this year. Remember you don’t have Romano, Gordon and Howarth.

Exactly=These 3 are irreplaceable. 3rd at best for BBC.Stop kidding yourselves.
You dont lose 2 Jnr Wallabies and best player in the comp and recover in one year.

You guys are both too experienced to bite on some schoolboys stinky bait.

I’m not ruling BBC out like you have both just done as they have some good talent coming back and some new talent recruited - I reckon it’s safer to wait and see than speculate so far out.
