QLD GPS Rugby 2021

Blue & white

Billy Sheehan (19)
.
The Churchie starting 7 is def a Stoddard, one of many to go through the school. He came off at half time last sat with an injury I think and was replaced by a boy in year 10. (One of a few that are likely to play this year) 12 is new this year I think

And 10 was new last year. From what I have seen -he may be the best 10 in the comp.
There is a new prop from NZ but injured

Does anyone know what happens if rugby gets cancelled because of COVID? Is there a minimum amount of games that need to be played for a school to claim the title?

Last year with cricket they just awarded a joint premiership to those on top of the table .

Can't remember off the top of my head how many games had been played.

NC vs TGS
Playing in Toowoomba and a few injuries will give TGS a bit of a leg up. NC will win this game
Their depth has always been one NC great strengths. TGS to be gallant in defeat. NC by 15

BBC vs GT
Over the past few Years BBC have been very strong. Is this the end of their era, possibly. Some injuries to their key players will hurt but BBC will be too strong for GT. BBC by 10

ACGS vs IGS
This game may be closer than a lot of people think. IGS have always put on a good show against Churchie. With their first game under their belt Churchie will be looking to build into the season. Churchie by 20

BGS vs BSHS
Interesting game as BSHS were showing some good form pre season. The Dr Jeckyll Mr Hyde team of GPS competition. If BSHS show up they win this game. Good to see BGS winning games again but I see BSHS taking the chocolates. BSHS by 12

jeez bbc's team is fairly average this week. id put money on terrace to get up

BBC team list to play GT:

1. Zac Davies
2. Will McIntyre
3. Angus Ward
4. Ollie Milne
5. Toby McPherson
6. Dimitrius Williams
7. Charlie Archer
8. Tom Wheen
9. Archie McGown
10. Harry MP (Moana Pasifika)
11. Delacruz Ripley
12. Peron Faimalo
13. Jarrod Homan
14. Xavier Ruebens
15. Blake Davis

Mate, you've got the be kidding if you think Joe Liddy, oops, I mean GT can get over BBC. How much money we fronting?

One other thing, I think NC win tommorow against TGS by 15 with Toia playing, no one in that TGS outfit will be able to stop him.

GT will dominate that pack. This will be a cracker.

Loving this hype around BBC v GT, should be an interesting fight given the circumstances. I will say that GT are far more than just their best player, but BBC are incredibly well drilled regardless of injuries. If I had to bet, I'd say BBC but a GT upset wouldn't surprise me either. On Churchie v IGS, I think Churchie will remain too strong and get an easy win. BGS vs BSHS could also be quite close, ill tip a draw here just for the fun of it. And TGS vs Nudgee, probably the game of the round, will be a dog fight, but I'm gonna back Nudgee just based on the past 2 rounds scorecards.

Well looks like we won't have a winner this year. So BBC will go into 2022 as the reigning champs?

The way I read the rule, if a game is cancelled both teams get a point. Therefore if the remainder of the seasons games are cancelled then NC and GT share the premiership.
Might be the case , but don’t think anyone will be cheering.

An extended lockdown would be a shit sandwich for all .

Surely they can't crown a winner after 2 rounds? I'd be fine if they called this one a draw for each side and moved on, but I highly doubt this is only a 3 day lockdown...
