Nudgee 17 BBC 15.
Nudgee out scored 3 tries to 2 and a little lucky to get away with that one.
Poor kicking again from BBC hurt them
And the 63 year old BBC quest continues for another season.. But did anyone else see three of the All Conquering BBC 15A's on the reserves bench at half time?
BBC up 10-7 at half time. 70% possession and 60% territory. Looking strong but howling breeze in their favour.
Hosea the dominant player on the park by a long way.
2nd half will be a cracker. Not sure BBC took enough advantage of the breeze and their possession.

Once again, Nudgee had a few tough calls in the 1st XV, particularly with the 1st try. If you watch the replay, the ball boy gives the ball to the hooker, and then they take a quick line out. This is against the rules as there must be no interference in a quick line out. It's in the rule 19.2 c, which reads, "For a quick throw-in, the player must use the ball that went into touch. A quick throw-in is not permitted if another person has touched the ball apart from the player throwing it in and an opponent who carried it into touch. The same team throws into the line out."
Correct! Had a discussion with a parent on the sideline about the same rule.
Also, BBC 3rd try, the wingers foot was out before he placed the ball over the line. Come on touches, open your eyes and learn the rules!
Try opening your other eye and show some dignity at the same time

A quick lineout is not a quick throw-in! Very big difference between the two.
In the case of a quick lineout you can use whatever ball you want.
In the case of a quick throw-in (which is in reference to a quick pass-in when somebody [usually a winger] passes it back into play) you can't.
