FT TGS 28 - GT 24

Damn, I was really hoping GT won that one.

FT Nudgee 22 - TSS 17

With two rounds left the ladder looks like

1. Nudgee: 1 lose
1. State High: 1 lose
2. Terrace: 2 loses
2. TSS: 2 loses
2. BBC: 2 loses

Remaining games

Nudgee: State High, Terrace
State High: Nudgee, TSS
Terrace: BBC, Nudgee
TSS: Churchie, State High
BBC: Terrace, TGS

If the winner of the Nudgee vs State High games wins their next game they win outright.

If they lose their next game (which are against Terrace and TSS respectively) then a tied premiership is on the cards.

Any of these 5 teams can still win a tied premiership but only Nudgee or State High can win outright.

BBC has the least control on their future as they need to beat Terrace next week but even if they beat TGS if results don't go their way they won't win.

For Terrace, the lose today is costly. With these results to win the premiership they need to beat BBC next week and Nudgee beat State High then if they beat Nudgee the following week they are guaranteed a tied premiership. By losing today Terrace won't win a premiership if they win their next two games but State High beats Nudgee next week.

Bloody hell Toowoomba! You've just f**ked it for everybody.

We wanted a Nudgee v Terrace winner takes all final.

From TSS v Nudgee, my initial thoughts:

Southport really didn't want to win in the first half. TOs, penalties, knock ons, the lot. Nudgee coasted to a 17-0 lead before Southport woke up.

Final score 22-17, Southport bundled into touch in the act of scoring in final play out wide

Couldn't agree more

Couldn't disagree more it's just opened right up - BBC lot of injuries today they will battle against GT next week but some good signs with strong games from quite a few players but both sides turned over a heap of ball.

BBC came out strong in second half an dominated for first 20 which set them up for the game when a new front row ran on in return with Farrell who looked good but the Hooker before also had another strong game

Oracle your assessment of the game is a joke. Complaining that is was a scrappy game when you are down 7-5 at half time. It wasn't sloppy it was brutal. Game only turned when Churchie lost their starting second row, flanker and then their fullback ten into the second half. Churchie finished with more half their 16A on the field compared to the second year, yr 12 replacements of BBC.

We get it you support BBC... 1954 will be remembered.

Go the NC. So basically any of the 5 can still win... Just gotta keep on winning.

Agh WW you belter - did you not predict GT to win the premiership

BBC changed over 7 players including entire front row - it's good to have depth.

Over 10 knock ons mate indicates a sloppy game in my view but it's probably not by what you have witnessed this year.

We all know of your "depth", deep, deep, deep pockets. Wouldn't know whether BBC have knocked on 8 times each game this year, do tell!

Well you WW should know about that - your flaw was your pedigree and donut remains begrudging the deep pockets that have obviously scarred you

Depth not only effects the 1st XV results but has a flow on effect. Terrace now have injuries to their captain at 12 and his brother at 15. Both may need to be replaced from the 16A team which jointly leads the comp. GT ended up playing Lucas at inside centre late in the game when things were going pear shape. Some interesting selections next week

Not sure you can blame injuries for the loss. BBC lost forwards leader, 9, captain @ 10 and already had replacements in the starting squad.
Shows the depth and spirit they have built. And before you say it, not all with scholarships.

Looks like it could be survival of the fittest.
Some bad injuries out at BBC yesterday . 5 for both teams went off in medi cabs and 9 for BBC also injured.I hear some injury worries out at BShS . superior fitness of BBC scoring 28 points in 2 nd half but with 20 mins to go half of both teams appeared to be replacements.
Congrats ACGS on a great defensive display.
Big scores by BBC 14 A ( 60 odd points)and 15 A yesterday . The 14A and 13A matches against GT next week should be worth watching.
Another 3 tries by Josh Bowens younger brother in 15A yesterday , 2 last week , so close to 20 for the year. 0ne to watch next year.
