I've heard rumours that the Churchie 1XV are wanting to better last years score line against Grammar......

Btw, Chuchie playing their worst game of the season, and they go to 2H with a YC against after a ridiculous number of penalties.

Agreed looking at the GT schedule for this weekend v BSHS

There are only

3 games in Open
1 in 16's
2 in 15's
3 in 14's
3 in 13's
1 in 12's

GT is playing BSHS in 13 games and another school or a bye in 24 games not including the U11's

I would take the BGS program over BSHS program all day

So you would take the BGS rugby program over the BSHS program any day. Ok, let's look at some results from when BSHS played Grammar. Under 13. BSHS won 104 to nil. U/14. BSHS won 27 to 10. Under 15. BSHS won. 50 to nil. Oh, and although I haven't looked it up.. I am pretty sure this BSHS 1st 15 would have won. So you can have your rugby program. Good luck with that. And yes, we don't have the depth... Because half of BSHS are girls. Yes, believe it or not, half the student population are girls.

I think Rugby Program means different things to different people. BSHS has well over three thousand students so saying half are girls is true but a school like GT for example has about 1500 so it's apples for apples. BSHS have poor participation rates in sport and it annoys many that the students show not much interest in sports to similar extent that other colleges do. BGS has a better program some would say because the program is getting more boys to play. BSHs not a great sporting haven as far as I see it. Support poor today from BSHS. Mostly girls in the crowd. Not sure how sustainable this schools particpation in GPS is IMO.

14a from GT finished the season with a draw. BSHS played magnificently. Number 7 and 13 for GT were fantastic. Without the 13 GT would have been rolled easily IMO.

Hmm, GT outplayed a BSHS side who had better individuals overall, but IMHO that was the difference. GT played as a team despite missing their 12, 2, and 8, while BSHS played as individuals.

Mostly girls in the crowd?? I'm sure the GT boys weren't complaining that the state high girls turned up. Weird thing to say. So for a school with a non sustainable rugby program in the GPS program they seem to do ok today against your Gregory Terrace. 1st 15 - state high won. 15 a's stateh high won... By 50 from memory, 14a's ... You undefeated GT team 15 - 15, u13a's beat GT by over 60 points to nil. Seems to be going ok to me. In fact for a school with such a high participation rate like GT, and with the results you got today, I would almost questioning your rugby program, not state high's program.

BSHS program waifer thin. No depth but some of the girls could have really made a difference if you could be bothered to field b and c teams. Some of them were scary looking.

End of season guys and girls, let's leave the mine's bigger and better than your's arguments behind us and congratulate those boys who have done their schools proud in 2015. In rugby as in life there are those who do well and those not so well. The great thing about this years competition was the overall standard of rugby with some champion teams being upset by emerging talent. This has to be good for Qld rugby - the main nursery of Australian rugby talent IMHO. Till 2016....
