Are all those marked NC1XV 2012 from last years Grade 11 or are some repeating? I know Tuttle and Jones are from Grade 11 2012.

They are all last years grade 11 as I understand it - no repeats.

But they do put some of their scholarship students on a three year programme to do Years 11 and 12.

I hear BBC have at least 8 from last year's First XV, which we were probably under-rated and a bit unlucky in the end, also a good influx of scholarships in year 10 who can't play year 10 and quite a few in 11. They might be a surprise packet....

Pressure is on the defending Premiers to win back to back
premierships. No Sam Greene this year to lead their team.

My favourites for the premiership is Nudgee. This age group at NC was unstoppable from u13 to u15. I think only one team went close to beating them in only one match over those three years And then around half a dozen or more of the team when they were u16 played in Firsts last year and went within a whisker of the Premiership.
Hagen's non appearance will not be a great loss.
The only question I have is around who will be their playmaker. They have got away with dominating all facets so much they never had anyone controlling or dictating the play and when all teams get more competitive, this may be a crucial gap in the armory.
